Once a month, second Saturdays, when it's not too hot, this little-known desert group gathers and throws out some Route 66 flavor that is one of a kind. Tourists who stop might be out sightseeing on their way to Oatman. Or, maybe a Snowbird, vacationing locally in a seasonal rental here deep in the Havasu Federal Wildlife Reserve. This place has plenty of space for traveling boondockers to gather with handmade goods. Join the guild, support the non profit historical building. Even better, come on by and throw up a chair for the day and experience a bit of history in the most infamously stolen zip code attached building in America. It's actually located on the side of parking lot in Golden Shores by Veteran's Memorial Park on Shore Dr. Just off Route 66, before the one flashing stop sign. (Just don't tell Google that, they mapped the pin to our library building and community recreation center. ?)
