When we initially started my son was hesitant and didn't want to go! He feared being made fun of. After the completion of the program his confidence skyrocketed. He now feels better about school. His grades have also greatly improved. Before Sylvan, my son was having difficulty passing the STARR tests and with help of this program he is now passing them. I really enjoy how they communicate with you on a regular basis on your child's progress. Sylvan is a program that I would definitely recommend for your the struggling kiddos. It will not only help transform their grades but will also help boost their confidence.

Sylvan has gone above and beyond my expectations. When I noticed my daughter was struggling in school I reached out to Sylvan. They were quick to respond ,transparent with the program, explaining everything, and the cost. They have been so very kind and helpful and the teachers there are top notch. Our daughter has been going to Sylvan for almost a year now, and the improvements we have seen in her ability to work through math problems, along with the tremendous increase in her confidence with math, have been remarkable. Sylvan was a great experience for our family. My oldest was able to get the help in math that was needed to help her excel and become an honors math student in middle school. My son was also able to improve his already GT/honors scores so he could continue to excel at an even higher and faster rate than he normally would at school only. Sylvan has demonstrated to us that they can help them continue to grow, whether it is supplemental help or pushing higher at the rate they want to grow at.

Sylvan is awesome! My daughter went first when we discovered she had dyslexia. During the program she overcame her struggles and began to read full chapter books with enjoyment. She is currently a junior and now using the SAT program. Looking forward to seeing her results. My son started the program while having convergence issues with his eyes, due to a head injury. Sylvan staff was great as we navigated through vision therapy. They made adjustments during his lessons and have helped him make tremendous gains in his reading abilities. We are thankful for the Sylvan program and the results we have seen for both children.

I will admit that I was skeptical at first. Hopeful but skeptical as anyone would be with a "financial investment" but I am so glad we took the risk. Sylvan has far surpassed our expectations! Our 3rd grader was struggling in Reading. In just a few months, we have watched her grades and test scores increase. More important than that, we have watched her stress and anxiety decrease exponentially. THAT makes it all worth it! She is developing much-needed skills that the classroom teachers are unable to reinforce during the school day because of time constraints. It is greatly increasing her confidence and performance. The tutors are kind, professional and caring. The communication between staff and parent is top notch. I don't have a single negative thing to say. We are SO thankful for Sylvan and all they continue to do for our daughter! 10/10 highly recommend!

My daughter attends online school, currently in fourth grade. She has attended online school since kindergarten. I knew after finishing third grade she needed more help than I could provide. We reached out Sylvan of Lubbock (after being in town for a couple months, we live on the road). The process from beginning, talking to office staff being assisted in person, over the phone, and online is very efficient. I have seen an amazing growth in my daughter in both reading and math, she speaks highly of the teachers after each class. Jordan has been very helpful in each conference and with any questions we have. This location has made our experience with tutoring easy and enjoyable.
