My daughter started Swim Survival School right around 2 years old, where she learned to float within 8 weeks. We were so happy and impressed with her progress! Once she turned 3 we began the next course of training which is "swim float swim". I now have a 3 year old who is a fish in the water. She loves to show off her skills while swimming with us at home. I cant thank Shellie enough for allowing and teaching my daughter something that is so important to us. We are looking forward to improving our skills with this program.

I really cannot say enough about Ms.Shellie and her business teaching survival swimming skills. We started lessons with my first son when he was about 3 years old. He loves the water and people, so he had no problem jumping right in… my next son started lessons at 10 months and did not like water or anybody besides Momma! And Ms.Shellie was absolutely amazing with both boys… but the way she would hold my youngest son to help comfort him meant a lot to me. Not to mention how supportive she is to the Momma handing her baby over for something as vital as survival swimming lessons.
We already have our newest addition signed up for her lessons next year!

Our son started Survival Swim lessons at 18 months old. Mrs. Bonnie was amazing with him. He was calmly rolling over and floating within just a few lessons (10 mins each). It was amazing to watch the transformation and to see how fast they learn to be able to save their lives if an accident were to occur. We have continued on with maintenance lessons and further training-Swim/Float/Swim with Mrs. Shellie and our son is over three years old now. We love Mrs Shellie and all of the staff who have worked with him and look forward to putting our daughter in classes next year. You cannot put a price on the peace of mind these lessons give you, when your child graduates. You have given them invaluable skills and given yourself the gift of time, should an accident occur and you aren’t right there.

How does Shellie only have one review on Google? By far the best swim instructor ever and her facility is impeccable and built specifically for ISR lessons. The lessons are so important- not only to get children comfortable with the water, but to save their life if they find themselves in the water unexpectedly. My daughter actually had some traumatic swim lessons elsewhere and Shellie got her comfortable in the water again and now swimming is her absolute favorite thing in life. If we ever had another child, Shellie would be the first person to know we were pregnant outside of our family so we could be on her list at 6 months old. There’s a reason she has a long waitlist.

Hands down, the BEST Swim School in the Bryan/College Station area. Highly recommended if you want to get your money’s worth.
ALL the instructors at SSBV are highly skilled and great with the kiddos. They are very patient with each child as they know every child is different.
Shelli has been doing this for many many years and has her program perfected to the T. If you want your child to learn survival skills as well as swim, I would highly suggest signing your kid/kids up TODAY! Her waitlist is 1-2 years long.

Shellie was one awesome instructor!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw my baby floating on his own for the first time. My son has had a hard time coping with new activities but Shellie was so patient and worked with him until he got it down! Highly recommend her program!!
