This is a very nice and well-kept place. The inside has a large number of items, firearms, and medals to keep you busy, and the outside has TANKS! There is also helicopters, personal vehicles and even medical trucks. Don't forget the buildings that have old Artillery and a nice selection of Jeeps. It's a place to stop definitely.

We visited the Camp Ripley military museum on Saturday.
We were blown away by the amazing number of artifacts and a live experience from a Colonel who was in Iraq as a tank commander. Oh, it was such an honor to be in his company. I couldn’t resist expressing my heartfelt gratitude for his and his family’s sacrifices.

I encourage you all to visit this museum and feel the same gratitude for our Veterans.

My salute to all of them.

Excellent museum! The kids really enjoyed the indoor displays and loved all of the helicopters, airplanes, tanks, trucks, etc outside. Great job by all involved. Only 12 bucks for our whole family of 7. Can't wait to see the new facility...

Stopped in while on vacation recently. If you are a fan of military history you'll really appreciate the visit here. It will be really something when they move into a new, larger, venue just outside the Post gates. But what they had displayed, indoors and outdoors, was very well done. Tons of information to see and read, but nicely displayed in a chronological order. HIGHLY recommend for anyone. Seems very family friendly, too.

This museum is a must see! The exhibits were wonderful in describing Minnesota military history! The tanks and planes outside were really cool and there were opportunities to get up on some of the tanks which is great for families with kids . Overall, if you like history and are interested in military history, I highly recommend a visit!

I had an amazing time here with my husband. If you love tanks, helicopters, history in the military, this is the place for you. They had a lot of history on many wars and many different outfits that were worn. They even have places where you can see what the living quarters look like, as well as the bathroom.
