The staff at the front desk are not welcoming. They treat you like your a prisoner. Very unfriendly and make you feel like it’s your fault that their check-in machine malfunctioned and didn’t check in the book that we obviously returned.

There aren't too many places around this area where you can go to quickly print a hard copy if your printer runs out of ink. I can only think of two, this library and Marion County library. I haven't been to the new Baxter County library until the other day. I was very impressed and can't wait to just go for fun.

The venue is clean, orderly, tastefully decorated. The Juvenile section has a whimsical TREE right in the middle of it and comfy "story" chairs. There is a dedicated Teen section with a chess game set up. All areas have computers and computer hookups for people who bring their own. There's a dedicated genealogy room. A 3-D printer is available for public use and one may check out a telescope for viewing the heavens. Librarians are super helpful. There is ALWAYS something happening at the library.

One of the best small town libraries I've seen. Books galore, of course, but also plenty of other services offered too. The staff is great and so helpful. Weekly events for young and old, as well as many additional services online and via their app. I give Baxter County Library my highest recommendation!

What is there not to love about our public library? From Artifact exhibits to Zuni cultural information, you can find it all. My daughter loves the Dinosaur exhibition as well as the children's section down stairs. It's a beautiful multilevel building that also accommodates everyone with access via elevator or stairs. A superb knowledgeable staff to help you find what you need to finish that report or find yourself a good read. Quiet, clean, filled to the hills with anything you may need for work or play. A great place to just relax and get yourself lost for a while.

I use to love going here today I had the rudest experience with the staff over something I have done multiple times just because they don't know how to use their own equipment. the grab my stuff and wouldn't even hand it to me me slung my phone on the desk there was no need for this i have never been so disrespected all while raising their voice and waking my sleeping kid. I hope you get new staff soon after this I really don't feel welcome back or like it's a good environment for my kid.

I feel Baxter County Library is a wonderful place to find yourself in. It has an impressive array of books and activities for most everyone. From fiction to non-fiction it rarely lacks a book I want. It's always keeping up to date and encourages the curious to continue being curious.
