Steve took my wild child Australian Shepherd (Woodrow) at 6 months and he actually got his Therapy Dog certification!!!! That was a miracle!!?. I can’t say enough about their family and training! We also got one of Christy’s Bernadoodle puppies (Mac) for our son and daughter in law. He is an absolute sweetheart, so very gentle with his 6 day old new human sister!!

Steve and the group at K9 nation have trained and cared for both my Bernedoodle and mother’s Aussie. We sent our pup in for training at the young age of 6 months and he has been a wonder ever since. Steve and his group were incredibly communicative throughout the process and answered any questions that arose. Our dog has retained all information he learned and only very very rarely misses a command, even with a newborn attempting to distract him. I would recommend steve and K9 nation to any and all that ask.

We have had the best experience with Steve. We have 3 boxers with wildly different personalities and he has helped us work with all 3. He is so incredibly knowledge and patient with not only the dogs but training us humans to work consistently with them which is so important in the training process. Steve is the epitome of the perfect professional dog trainer. We are so glad he is working with us and our Aussie, Charlie!!!
Not only does he train your dog, but he explains why your dog’s brain work the way it does. At the end of the training session, he puts you in charge and works with you. I’ve used different trainers over the years, but he is hands down the best!

It was a Great Day when I saw Steve’s ad and decided to check it out! I decided I wanted to learn to breed and train Therapy dogs. I researched dogs and decided to start with a Havanese. My son and his family had decided to get a dog as well. Their dog is an Australian Shepherd but she is deaf and partially blind. None of us had worked with a deaf dog. My son and I went to check in with Steve. He was knowledgeable in where we needed to start with both dogs. He also had some newer training ideas that makes training much easier. We really appreciate his assistance. I plan to continue working with Steve to continue Brody’s journey to become a Therapy dog.

Steve met with us to work with our highly anxious and aggressive dog. Not only did he provide us honest and professional feedback about our situation, he was quick to offer very applicable and helpful steps to start to work with him. I started to shadow Steve in June of this year in my journey to becoming a dog trainer. It was the first step I took when I decided to finally look more into the career. I called Steve and even with his busy schedule, he did not hesitate to let me come out to his facility multiple times a week and pester him with a million questions. He was extremely patient and I could immediately tell his passion for dogs. Over the next few months I saw him work with dozens of dogs and owners at differing levels of skill and with varying needs and he was able to accommodate everyone and meet every dog where they were. He has a deep knowledge of dogs and how to adapt to each dogs personality. Most importantly, he cares so deeply about every dog that comes through his door and will do whatever is needed to connect with the dog in front of him. I learned so much from Steve and will forever be grateful for him helping me get my start. I would recommend anyone I know to send their dog to Steve, they will be in the best care and would be one of the only places I would trust to send my 2 (velcro) dogs. Couldn’t recommend Steve more!!!

Steve Hill came to our house for a few hours to help with our newfound fur Baby and I say Baby is because she acts like a big baby but she’s 110 pound four year old shepherd who someone dropped off in my front yard and we kept however, I am not big enough or young enough to control her. She won’t bite you. She just wants to jump on you. She wants you to run and play. I can’t do that, I was miserable how to communicate with her for hours later after he arrived and the tricks and the little tips and the methods that he showed us she is now crate drained she goes to bed when I tell her she will play fetch with you whereas before she would run and get it and come back to you, but she wouldn’t turn loose of it. I have her dropping it now she’s only jumped on two people in the last three weeks, I’ve been able to controller to that amount which makes the life in this house so much easier he is awesome. I watched videos. I looked online. I tried all those tips. Nothing nothing phased her so all I’ve got to say is that was the best fee I have ever paid for any services for my dogs and over the last 34 years, we have had five rescue dogs. All of them were pretty much well House trained. This one was not. She came from a farm so she was allowed to do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted for a few years but now I can even take her to the pet store and she’s right there. She’s right there, you get the right equipment talk to Steve and have him give you the right tips exercises and things that your independent needs and you will have a wonderful life after that thank you Steve. I appreciate it. You’re great.
