Teacher Anne has helped our son over zoom with both reading and writing. Their weekly sessions were a tremendous help during distance learning. She gave him the skills he needed to read at grade level or higher with confidence. Although they’ve never met in person, they have a truly special connection. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience with A Love of Learning.

Anne started as our tutor in Fall of 2019, in person. When things shut down in March 2020 due to Covid, Anne transitioned to video sessions and maintained a sense of consistency and caring. We have continued Zoom tutoring with Anne since then, on our usual twice weekly schedule.

When we were seeing Anne in person, she had a lovely tutoring space - open, clean, calm, with books & art supplies and a nice large desk to share with her tutee. She was on track with time, positive and insightful in assessing our daughter's academic needs and progression, and always a kind, warm presence.

Anne is a competent and knowledgeable tutor, keeping our daughter on track and adjusting as needed. So grateful we have her in our lives!

Teacher Anne was instrumental in teaching my son to read. Before we went to Anne he was embarrassed to read out loud. Once he started working with Anne he started feeling confident about his reading. She then realized he needed help in math and jumped over to teaching him math too. As a family we truly think there is nothing Teacher Anne can't do. We love her so much.
