All 4 of my children have been cared for by the wonderful staff at Phoenix Day. We found this gem in 2013 through ASU Family Services. They were the only recommended childcare facility for students at the downtown campus. For the past 6 years, I have had 3 of my children graduate and they were all well socialized and prepared for kindergarten. They have cared for my 2 younger children that have developmental delays and have worked with them to ensure they receive all of the assistance they need. The staff has always been helpful, friendly, and it just feels like family. I trust each one of them and know they love the children they care for. I will always recommend Phoenix Day to everyone I know. They do great things for the community.

My review is different than most. I received a call following up on a request to tour. Everything sounded great until I was informed about their pick-up and drop off policy due to Covid. I was informed that I would not be able to come into the facility for pick-up and drop off. A staff would come to the car to take
my child bring him back. Idk but it’s giving shady. Normal Protocol and procedure would be to wear a mask when entering and washing hands before entering? Seems lacking of transparency. I would not recommend sending kids here until that policy is changed. Also no access to cameras for parents as well.

I was on the waiting list for about 4 months when my twins finally got a spot they only lasted about 2 months they where always send home, I am single mom so it was so hard to leave work, my favorite reason that they would give me was “we cant handle them” “they are too bad” I honestly felt like my kids where the issue. Because at times for me as a single parent of twin boys it was difficult. Many of my family and previous employers told me that it wasn't right what they were doing, so I switch them daycare. Now they been going to sunrise preschool and even thou they are a handful the daycare teacher at this Daycare have never send them home because they were “to much to handle” if my boy give them a hard time they talk to me at pick up and we work together to change their behavior, I writing this review a year after I took them out because I did not want to provide negative feed back if my 2 year olds were the actual issue but after them being at another daycare over a year with them only being send home for either them not feeling well or because the daycare is understaff I now know my kids were not the issue!!

My children have been going here for a couple of months now and so far so good. Haven't had any bad experiences or complaints at all. I feel safe having my kids there. Anytime they are sick they make sure to call me to let me know. I love how they teach them and care for them. I notice and hear my kids learn new things. I enjoy to see the projects my kids bring home and enjoy to see them displayed in the classroom. My kids haven't had a complaint, negative or scared attitudes towards any of the teachers. It's really nice to know that it's not just one teacher in each classroom. So I know my kids get the attention they need. Also they always greet me and my kids with a positive attitudes in the morning.
Thank you Phx Day

I highly recommend this early learning center. It is located in the heart of downtown Phoenix and a convenient drive if you work downtown. The quality of care they provide is amazing and I wouldn’t put my son in any other center. Phoenix day is not only a early learning center but a second home for my family and the surrounding community. If you want to give your child a great early learning environment as well as quality child care this is the center for you.

It can be challenging and stressful to find a Daycare where the staff genuinely cares about your baby on top of remaining professional and organized. I am very pleased to say that A New Leaf’s Phoenix Day has exceeded my expectations in all categories. Every day I am greeted with a sincere smile by the ladies at the front desk. I also want to add that Mercedes made the enrollment process seamless. When it comes to my 7 month old daughter, Jackie and Paulina are primarily the teachers on duty and each morning they greet my baby girl Zaneiya with open arms. Seeing how my daughter reacts to them with zero crying and even smiles makes me feel at ease when I have to leave her to go to work. Cynthia is usually the teacher on duty when I arrive to pick Zaneiya up at the end of the day. She is AMAZING and I know that she goes above and beyond with Zaneiya. A small gesture that I have noticed which goes a very long way with me is the fact she takes the time to is ensure that Zaneiya’s hair is done everyday by the time we pick her up. This is really sweet of her and I truly appreciate her for that. All around this is a great place with a great staff! Highly recommend this daycare!!

They’re amazing here! I have a pre-k and infant . They’re separated to provide each age group exactly what they need to learn and different caring needs. From the front office to the teachers . My child tells me all the things they learn everyday. It’s a blessing . I don’t worry when leaving my children here .

Update: my pre-K is now in kinder and she is doing Amazing . She is ahead of class & learned all she needed plus more while at new leaf.

The culture here actually feels warm & like family when you walk in. All the front desk and teachers learn your child’s name.

I was scared when I had enrolled my kids here as it was their first time in a day care setting but I have no regrets. It was a great experience .
