I an currently enrolled here as the name has been changed to Compass Charter Schools of Los Angeles! It is an online school that has been updated with a beter interface with students and vey responsive and easy to get hold of staff members! The office is very beautiful and the staff is very friendly! Ive been here since janurary of 10th grade and I am graduating this here! The perfect option for learning as you have the best counselors and staff to aid your childs school journey! They organize alot of field trips to many places and serve basically all of southern california! They iffer many options such as dual enrollment at you local communitu college FOR FREE and carefully guide you during you college applications! They are much more nicer than you traditional public high school! Although they may not have AP courses the dual enrollment option is much easier and gives your child the college enriching experience! Would recommend to anyone interested in online/home schooling and an escape from the hardships and annoyances from the traditional high school environment!

My son has taken all of his High School courses through AAS. The school offers a great web based learning environment. All but one of his classes, were very well organized and easy to follow along. The have "class connects" weekly, offering your child the opportunity to have a "face to face" discussion or lesson with their teacher.

I am only giving three stars because one of their teachers has no business teaching at an online school. One of the most critical skills one must posses when teaching or learning online, are communication skills. This teacher lacks in this area, as well as organization. When trying to correct the matter with other staff, they too lack the ability to communicate in a timely manner.

Very unpleasant experience at this school. I have been awaiting a answer for 3 weeks, after attempting to transfer out-of-state transcripts. My counselor was undereducated on my situation and still continue to misinform and give me incorrect information. After fulfilling all of her request for 3 weeks, she flat out denied my transcript transfer. After working vigorously, I have been discredited by someone who has no proper knowledge of the situation.
