Steve and the Academy of Tutoring Professionals have been working with my 3 middle school sons since the beginning of the school year. Steve has been amazing in getting to know each of their strengths and weaknesses and taking a deliberate approach to helping each of them grow in their math skills and grades. There’s few times I’ve experienced a service so good that I wish all businesses operated like that. Steve Alamasor at Academy of tutoring provides that service! We’ve used his math tutoring twice now for our son Gabriel. Once in high school for AP Statistics and Business Calculus at Utah Tech University. Both times we used his services Gabriel was struggling with a failing grade. By the end of each semester with tutoring his grades were improved to a B! Steve you’re AMAZING and we look forward to using you in the future at the beginning of class this time!

Steve is a terrific tutor. He has a program that allows students to upload their work and he works through the problem with the students. He made Alg2 more understandable for my high school junior. Classroom instruction was confusing for my student (teacher had a less than 50% passing rate for her class). Steve helped clear that confusion and showed more logical steps to completing problems. My student passed the class! Steve is now helping my college student with Stats. I would highly recommend Academy of Tutoring Professionals!!

We are happy to have found Steve as a tutor. He had helped my older son when he was a 10th grader and struggling in Math during the pandemic. He is now coaching my other son in AP Pre-calc. Steve was very prompt when we reached out to him a second time and was able to start lessons the next day. He is very patient and explains concepts in a way that is easy to understand.

Steve is an amazing tutor! When my son started middle school he began working with Steve. At that time, my son was feeling under confident in his math abilities and anxious about completing assignments on time and performing well on tests. Fast forward to today.... My son is completing his Sophmore year in high school with an A in Honors Math, a Math Award, and he is registered for AP Calculus next year. Steve's ability to teach math to every student whether they are excelling or struggling is unsurpassed. My son says "Steve is patient, understanding, and cool. I like how he explains math." Steve did an excellent job working with my freshman son who was having a hard time grasping the fundamentals of Algebra 1. He went from being a low performer to a high performer in a very short period of time. I was skeptical of virtual tutoring, but Steve has a good system that emulates in person learning. I highly recommend the Academy to other students that may be in a similar situation.

Mr. Steve is an excellent math tutor. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He tutored my daughter in Geometry last year and is currently working on Algebra 2 with her this year. Math is a very easy subject for her right now and she gets consistent straight A's. We couldn't be happier with the results. He makes sure she fully understands the concept before moving on to the next material. We highly recommend Mr. Steve to anyone who is seeking a great teacher.
