Jared was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful in getting me prepared for the SAT. He introduced me to resources that were easy and efficient for studying, and was very thorough in covering concepts that I didn't understand. In addition to being a great tutor, he was very flexible with his schedule and was never once not on time. Despite having other clients, he made me feel important and never embarrassed for not knowing something. He was available to ask for help outside of tutoring hours and included studying materials in his package. Great personal tutoring. Jared is a true expert in SAT/ACT prep and really gets to know the student's strengths and weaknesses. We tried a tutor center with minor results. While we are still not yet done in the process, we have seen a steady rise in our son’s test scores and while the end result is important, the process is extremely important to us because Jared’s approach is very much hands-on and requires adherence to his personalized plan, to which he gives significant thought and preparation.

Results aside, Jared is very pleasant to deal with and most importantly, he connected with our teenage boy. We viewed that connection as critical.

Jared is also very understanding of potential conflicts and has been able to reschedule as needed with ease. He is also more than fair and is far from a clock watcher or someone just seeking billable hours. He even makes himself available to his students during the week as questions arise.

We have not dealt with any other test prep before, though we imagine that dealing with a large company would not yield a comparable experience.

Whether you are a prospective freshman or a transfer applying to college, Jared is absolutely the best! He is very kind and patient when you do not understand something.
