Did my Private add-on in August 2022 with Max as my MEI. Max was incredibly professional and helped me to truly grasp the multi-engine systems, VMC, engine shutdown procedures, and etc. Flying single engine approach with no GPS (since N33300 the Action Multi Ratings Piper Seneca I only has dual VORs) was definitely the hardest thing for me. I would highly recommend this course for any proficient pilot with a desire to truly be challenged. The private add-on was a 3-day course in which we did a lot of ground and around 6 hours of flying. Day 4 was the check ride with Chris Hand. No curve balls in the check ride, just struggled on single-engine approach...but was within tolerances. You definitely have to come to the course with everything memorized ready to go. I had mostly everything memorized and that hurt me during the course. The price of the private-add on course (August 2022) was $3400 and the check ride was $800.

I did my commercial multi-engine add on this week with Action and can't say anything but great things about their training program! The staff is very friendly, and the MEI I worked with, Micah, was very knowledgable and prepared me very well for the checkride. I recommend Action Multis to anyone in the Northeast looking to get their multi-engine rating fast, and done right! Thank you again to the team at Action for such a great experience!

I was here recently for my CMEL add on. I highly recommend this flight school for your ME training. They have been around for well over 20 years that I know of. Their instructors are top-notch and they make every effort to best prepare you for the ride. Joel, Ryan, and Nate are all great instructors with plenty of multi-engine experience.

If you're unsuccessful in your training, it's because YOU showed up to training unprepared/under-prepared. They are not going to 'spoon-feed' you all the training material, you need to have some 'skin' in the game and show some initiative if you want to succeed in their training program. Yes their training is fast-paced, but that is how it's designed and it's very effective. There isn't a better multi-engine training flight school out there in the Northeast that can match AMR's quality instruction.

I took the ATP course with Ryan and Action Air and highly recommend it. Ryan provides intense excellent training with just the right mixture of strictness and encouragement. It's very serious work both in the airplane and on the ground with not much time to breathe, with a high safety standard and a high degree of professionalism and it prepares you perfectly for the "mother of all check rides". I got the desired rating, but more importantly, I came back as a better and more proficient pilot. Thank to Ryan and his staff!

This is the perfect example of what a flight school should be. No frills, clean, nothing fancy, but pure 100% excellent instruction. I came here for my ATP and left a better pilot. You receive a packet of information ahead of time, so come prepared..STUDY THE MANEUVERS! If you come unprepared you will lose precious time. There will be much more learning to be done when you get here. And Ryan will teach much more while you're here so be ready! It is work, but that's why you're here, right?

Keep up the good work guys, you have a great reputation, a great school, and it's well deserved! I'll be back for some recurrency training!

I did my ATP with Action Multi Ratings and could not be happier with them. Ryan is an an exceptional instructor. The checkride was fair, straight-forward no gimmicks, tricks or idiosyncrasies. I plan to do my MEI there next summer; highly recommend them!

They're basically the only game in town if you want a multi-rating in CT, but there's a reason for that: they are well managed and know what they are doing. The planes are a little run-down and sparse as you'd expect from a flight school, but they never gave me pause about their airworthiness and are a blast to fly. All of their instructors seem to enjoy what they are doing and are very professional. I definitely recommend these guys!

This is a very thorough ACCELERATED Multi Engine Course. It is NOT ME Training, rather itโ€™s ME Checkride Prep! Do NOT show up (like me) not having the maneuvers MEMORIZED as well as 50+% of the POH memorized as well otherwise youโ€™ll have to start your day at 0300 daily to study & catch up. KNOW THIS!

Now then, these guys know their stuff and will work with you in order to have success! Especially if they see you putting in 150% efforts!

I would also agree that 40+% FAIL their Checkrides BUT due to NO fault of Action Multi Ratings! These guys would NEVER sign off someone if they thought they would fail!

COST: I spent a TOTAL of $6,647.42 on this ME Rating, however; I spent an additional 4 days due to Medical expiring (which Action hooked me up with their AME to get renewed in just a few hours). The extra 4 days resulted in $1,700 in extra costs so theoretically I shouldโ€™ve only spent $5,947.42

I realize that nearly $7K is a lot of money for an ME, but I have zero regrets and would do it again. I left Action with my ME and 11.5 hours multi engine time. I have also committed all this info to memory which will help in achieving MEI

They have very competitive ME rates at $325/hr!
