Volunteering with Action Tutoring is a great way to provide support where it is needed, no matter where you are. On-line tutoring allows you to work around your other obligations and the excellent preparation and support provided to tutors means that you can be immediately effective in helping the students. Action Tutoring is a brilliant organisation. They work closely with our school and key staff to ensure that the programmes that they provide fully fit our needs and those of our pupils, supporting them consistently to raise their attainment and progress.

Our Project Coordinators and other links are supportive and really responsive, communicating exceptionally well to ensure that the programmes run smoothly and our young people are catered for.

The tutoring is of such a high standard too. It's clear that tutors are fully trained - not just in the skills of teaching but in the other vital areas of mentoring, building meaningful relationships, active listening, managing behaviour, pastoral care and safeguarding. We are always impressed with the flexibility they demonstrate and how they go beyond what is expected. Tutors are also really carefully matched with the strengths and needs of pupils to ensure that the tutoring is successful. They really do get to know our students.

Thoroughly impressed with Action Tutoring and wouldn't use another company now.
