I'm blown away by the care my parents received at Admirals Pointe. The staff is compassionate, professional, and dedicated.

They took the time to understand my mom's dementia needs and made her feel comfortable and supported. When my dad became a resident, the staff provided top-notch care and made his final days peaceful. They were kind, respectful, and helped us through a tough time.

What sets Admirals Pointe apart is the genuine care and concern shown by every single staff member. From the administrators to the caregivers, nurses, and support staff, everyone has been friendly, approachable, and willing to lend a helping hand.

Early July my father was brought here to be cared for for 10 days while my brother, who is his full time caretake left state. From day one the nurses would not listen to the family about his care. They faught with my mother, she begged them to follow his normal care routine as we know how easily his health can spiral. Before going my dad could dress & feed himself, &use the bathroom with assistance. The staff would not listen to anything, the head nurse was extremely rude to my mom to the point she actually told her toget out of the room. They said they would not help him to the bathroom, he could just go on himself & they would clean him, would not let him sit in his chair because they said he would fall out, they kept putting oxygen on him instead of his bi-pap despite being told over & over he hasnt been on oxygen in a year & it would destroy him. My dad only lasted 5 days there & died. Think long & hard about the care your loved one needs before trusting Admirals pointe.

I just have to say, I interviewed for a job here...I didn't appreciate the judgement from the HR person, very unprofessional and unfriendly towards me...no one is perfect, we all have things happen in life!!
Who do you think you are to judge me?!
I've never been judged or disrespected like that before...I am so sick of the way people act these days!! Do NOT judge someone, you don't know what they have been through!!

Please see Stephanie Gerold’s review - really take in every single word before choosing this facility. I am the fiancé of her brother and confirm this horrific occurrence. I am certainly one to give grace, I know none of us are perfect, but the negligence of listening to family (especially the ones who cared for him day in and day out) and continuous lack of basic nursing care at this facility resulted in death. The loss of a Husband, Father and Grandpa. This stay was supposed to provide us respite as the full time caregivers (outside of our own work hours); a few days to vacation with our children this summer. What an absolute nightmare.

It would seem the quality of care depends on what side of this nursing facility you are on. The ceiling was peeling, walls peeled and patched. Staff constantly on their phones ignoring the residents any time I visited. My father was belittled multiple times. He allegedly witnessed an unattended fellow resident roll back in his wheelchair, run into the wall and fall out. I witnessed residents attempting to speak to the nurses at the desk and be completely ignored. Nurses very sick and still caring for residents. That is not a testament to the fortitude of the staff… It is an unacceptable risk.

Why there are not legal requirements for cameras in these facilities is beyond me.

I understand working in a care facility is a difficult and draining job. Please do not take it on if you don’t have the heart for it. If you once had the heart for it and no longer do, do the patients a favor and find a new job. These people matter. They are humans with souls who were once young and active. Now they have the misfortune to be cared for by people who see them only as a number and a paycheck. It is truly inhumane. Some who are supposed to go in for rehabilitation come out more sick and worse off than before, like my father.

My father is a cognizant individual and yet he still experienced multiple issues. I feel for anyone in this nursing facility who can’t speak up for themselves.

I would advise looking into other facilities for yourself or your loved one if at all possible. Look up recent reviews from patients, not staff.

The care teams are fantastic, the food is great with a wide variety everyday, the activities are stimulating and engaging and they have something for everyone the home is clean and just has a lovely feel throughout. The office staff is absolutely amazing and helpful. I WOULD highly recommend this company to anyone! They work with you to find the perfect fit of caregiver to patient.I cannot say enough good things about this company. The cost of care is reasonable; the peace of mind is priceless.”

Keep your loved ones as far away from here as possible! They are short staffed and really don’t seem to care about rehabbing. They are just there for the money. Therapy is very condescending towards my 91 year old father. He sits in wet diapers for very long periods of time and I feel like no one there cares.

I have had the unique experience of being a short stay patient, an entertainer for 25 yrs plus, and a personal Friend of staff at Admirals and I love everytime I walk through those doors. Wonderful caring people all around, especially in the activities department. As a patient I received excellent care when I was in need of their services and I am an appendix cancer patient. What A wonderful place and I am very happy to write this review.
