All I can say is this school is amazing!! I will be quite honest I was a little hesitant of having my son attend this ATP program just because of the one bad review I seen but I can honestly say I made the best decision for him, the teachers up to the staff are absolutely amazing!!!

I have worked with many schools in the Fresno Unified School District over the past several years. I have been an educator for 14 years. My experience with the adult transition program on Fairmont Avenue in Fresno California has been stellar. The staff and students have an incredible rapport with one another. It is as if a family of Educators have found each other. It is evident that our staff and teachers have a passion for training students how to be thrivers in a community where severe disabilities and moderate disabilities are often not understood or received well. We teach our students how to find access in public work places where they are accepted and become successful. I'm grateful to be a part of this incredible program and I plan on retiring here.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! ON AUGUST 18 2021 This schools staff lost my special needs sister on a class outing/field-trip in the first week of school!!!! They were at Foodmax on Barstow and Blackstone buying groceries for their activity the next day at school. There were 18 students and STAFF. They DO NOT watch and take good care of their students!! My special needs sister walked out of the store BY HERSELF!!!! SHE WAS LOST FOR 3 HOURS!!!!! The staff tried searching for her on their own, THEY DID NO CALL THE POLICE TO REPORT THIS AT RISK MISSING CHILD!!!!! After about 20 minutes of her being lost they finally contacted my sisters parents letting them know they lost her at the field trip at foodmax. We get there about 15 minutes after. My sister was lost for about 35 minutes and the STAFF HAD NOT EVEN CALLED THE POLICE TO REPORT THIS AT RISK MISSING CHILD!!!!! Three long hard hours went by and Fresno PD after sending amber alerts, sending missing at risks reports to various outlets. Finally found my sister ALL THE WAY DOWNTOWN IN FRONT OF THE COURT HOUSE AT A BUS STOP!!!!!!!!!! The administration at this school did not take this as a major incident which it was. All they said was sorry but that is just NOT enough. Nothing happened to the 3 staff, the complaint with the district did NOTHING. The school is stating that since this incident happened OFF SCHOOL GROUNDS THEY DO NOT HAVE TO TELL OR NOTIFY ANY STUDENTS & THEIR PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?!!!!!!!! We are so upset!!! Thank God my sister was found safe!!!!! There are so many bad people and so many bad things that could have happened to her!!!!!!!! This school needs to be shut down, the staff is NOT CAPABLE OF TAKING CARE OF SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN!!!!!
