Posting for this Wauseon location because the defiance page refuses to approve any other than their own 5 star review

This was originally posted last year (2023) but now (June 2024) a “Natalia” is texting and a man is calling saying the bill has more than quadrupled. After explaining to him that 1. The bill is not correct and 2. The services I received were questionable at best, he claimed he couldn’t talk to my emergency contact and just kept insisting he would start an “investigation” but would likely send me to collections.

TLDR; Aja Defiance location is likely overbooked but continues to take clients. I personally have very little confidence in their ability to provide timely and thoughtful care. Reaching out to administration didn’t resolve anything

I started seeing Tess at AJA in October of 2022. In January (the 12th), Tess asked if we could reschedule an appointment coming up on Thursday, the 19th. This was through text. I texted back to Tess this was fine and that we could even do Telehealth.

The 16th came and I still hadn’t heard back on whether we needed to reschedule and to when, so I reached out. She said if she did not find time on Thursday then she would “make sure” to find time Sunday. On Wednesday, the 18th (since I still had not heard back from Tess on if we were moving to Sunday), I reached out again with an updated screenshot of my updated schedule (this was on Wednesday, the 18th). ultimately Tess did not respond or reschedule my appointment until I reached out the following Monday and asked to cancel all standing appointments.

In the end, I saw Tess a few more times before I decided she didn’t have my best interests in mind during our sessions. When she failed to let me know we needed to cancel a session (so I was waiting the week/weekend for her texts), she blamed my stressful week on me being upset at her disregard for my time. (“You were upset that weekend? That explains your texts to me.”) she also would not comprehend parts of my statements until/unless I repeated them (I’d credit this to her looking at her phone/laptop at least once most sessions).

I reached out to administration (Antonia) to cancel all of my appointments with Tess. Antonia asked to address my email when they returned from an out of the country trip (returning February 13th). I’ve provided my availability for the 13th & 14th and still have not heard back. I’m not impressed with Tess at the Defiance location nor Antonia with administration at Defiance Aja.

Do NOT go to this place, the billing department will screw you. You trust someone to submit claims in a timely manner and they don't. He has done this several times. You would have to do his job for you. Again DO NOT go here. I wouldn't even give it a star but I have to in order to post this.
