Don't let the negative reviews deter you!! We stumbled across this place while trying to find something to do with our almost 3 year old . It looks like there is not a lot of parking but they are on a corner and have parking all around the building. There are 5 rooms and an outdoor area. 3 rooms are guided and 2 are free exploring with a gift shop! We made our own fossils to start and then got to touch and learn about a few animals they had. Then we learned about fossils and bones. The girls who did the animal encounter and the fossil tour were just excellent! Obviously most of anything in a museum is a replica and not the original due to the risk of it being damaged and the rarity of them. Definitely an unexpected gem we found. We didn't go outside to their outdoor playground and obstacle course only due to the rainy weather. I also feel this IS fit for all ages not just young kids. We ended up in a group with 2 men 60+ who had just as much fun as my almost 3 year old. Fun for all ages. We highly recommend!!

I attended my ol' man's granddaughters birthday . It was really nice and informative of different fossils and a great place for a kids party.

Their Simply Science program has been a game changer for my kiddo. She loves the facility and staff, they cultivate such creativity and interest in the world around us. 5 stars all the way!

Very enjoyable for the kids they like the animals and fossils and collection of rocks (they’re minerals Marie) yes, there is a creationist or intelligent design twist on what is presented, but your children will have a fun time don’t listen to the adults in the reviews who cannot handle a difference of opinion you can make it through the whole place and hardly notice. I hardly doubt any of them truly drove two hours without even looking at the reviews and were taken totally by surprise

I love going here with my children. We had so much fun exploring the museum, crafting a mold of a fossil, exploring the animals they have, and learning some educational facts about fossils and how they form. Staff was very pleasant and they seemed to be very knowledgeable. They have a big park and a 200 ft zip line. The zip line was very fun. That was actually the first one I went on ever and I feel like for a first timer it was a good expierence. The cost for everything including zip line for one adult and 3children was $52. So not to expensive. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the gift shop. A little pricy and not much to choose from.

1. This is a sham. Do not give them your money, go to an actual museum. They are incredibly anti-science, most of their "exhibition" is made up of artist renditions and "recreations" and actively promotes things that no credible scientist would back up. The staff couldn't really answer questions well, it was mostly "maybe, I don't know". They sell religious propaganda with the guise of it being "educational" ... I mean just look at the pictures I took of their main "self guided tour" room. Not only did all of these titles have full display cases, but they also had a tv going non-stop explaining their anti-science stances. Absolutely awful and shocking when I thought I was taking my nephew to a fun activity.
2. The only thing worth while was the animals activity bc they let the kids hold the animals, but honestly there's so many places you could go do that & put your money to better use. Plus their animals were in smaller cages than they should have been in, kinda depressing.

A cool museum that we discovered by accident. They have tours that include animals, making fossil replicas, and a talk on fossil formation. Nice outdoor play area including a small zip line ($3 extra). Separate Creation Education Center. Would be great for smaller kids, but my 13 and 17 yo kids enjoyed it. Very friendly staff.

This is not a science museum. This is a religious propaganda location. They do their best not to answer any scientific questions and try to undermine actual scientific theory. They put a lot of effort into recruiting children with low cost and subsidized summer camps, so it is very cheap, but it feels fairly predatory.

They have a nice animal encounter where children can see and pet snakes, chinchilla, ferrets, rabbits, and parakeets.

The outdoor facilities are fairly run down, but still functional.

The staff is exceptionally friendly, but the people doing the tours are all teenagers who don’t seem to know very much about their animals, or fossils.

Overall, it will entertain children for an hour and the highlight will be petting a snake. But having to explain why basic science courses are not a conspiracy by the mainstream media, will take more time.
