The AEA is now trying to get involved to kill the grocery tax reduction act.

The highest tax in the nation is in Alabama...this includes food.

There should be ZERO tax on food from any government entity.

If the AEA cares about kids, and it should being the public education representative of Alabama, then the AEA should agree that taxing groceries at a time when inflation is through the roof makes it harder to feed our children. Remove the grocery tax NOW!!!

Alabama has enough tax. In fact we are so over taxed that there was a surplus last year that is NOT being refunded back to the tax payer.

Alabama taxes are sky high, yet the benefit from those taxes is ZERO.

Waste of vital state resources. The school systems of alabama as a base are completely failure. The teachers are overwhelmed. With no one to help them from AEA which there job. Teachers are allowed to teach that are not qualified. AEA job again. Look at the schools then look at AEA building. A world of difference. Just a waste of resources. The AEA is a political group not an enforcer to better our schools.

As a former member the lack of follow-up and engagement with members is to be frowned upon. Truly a horrific situation that current members see.
