I attended In late 2022 and got my course completion in December 2022. I loved the class. My teacher was Charles. And from time we’d have Jon helping out. I loved it here. Class was very one on one. And if I had questions they’d be answered. I recommend this location 100%. You will learn here. I also made friends with my group and we still communicate and help each other out.

I just finished up the EMT program here, and I can ensure you that Alert Medical Training is the place to go. My instructor was Charles and he's a knowledgeable, no nonsense guy that will be sure to give you the tools necessary to not only be successful in the classroom, but also in the field. Alert Medical Training and its owner/main instructor Charles Harrell are outstanding. The pace of the course allowed me to digest the information while finishing the program before other programs in the area can offer. The instruction set me up beautifully not only to pass my National Registry exam, but I feel prepared for my job search and career in EMS. The establishment prepares prosperous first responders for success the moment they get into the field. I would recommend Alert Medical Training to anybody I know who wants to become an EMT, take a CPR class, or complete continuing education while already in the EMS field.

Alert Medical Training is definitely the EMT program you’re looking for. I passed the NREMT first time and landed a job at American Ambulance shortly after. All of the instructors including mine, Jon were very helpful and they really care about your future and the success of it. Lori at the front desk was always a great help! After the program they help guide you into the direction your looking for. It’s a hard program but the instructors are always available if you have any questions during the course. The hands on experience was my favorite part, I am a kinesthetic learner so all the practice and scenarios we did went a long way. Thank you everyone again and good luck to anybody new looking for a career in such a rewarding field!

I had a great experience at alert medical training. When I first came through the program I was drowning in a lot of information and was feeling underprepared for the course, as time went on I took Charles’ advice and just put my head down and did the work. I had amazing classmates who were always willing to help and great instructors who were always accessible. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to come out a better person in general, and work in the EMS field. I appreciate Charles for teaching me and believing in me throughout this process.

If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't go anywhere else for EMT training. From day 1, you work with others in a group, which helps one stay accountable to them, and they to the group. The group-centric learning also helps for better understanding of the material, because of the discussions that you have amongst your team and how concepts from the book translates into real life. Charles and his staff are very experienced in the field and know what it takes to teach and pass the course, but more importantly, they know that the need for hands-on training (which they have plenty of) is what helps you translate the material to possibly life-saving skills.

I've done BLS here a few times and it's been great. Recently AMT taught a class for kids 11-17 yrs old and our daughter attended with a few friends. They really liked it too. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone in need of any type of lifesaving certification - professionals or the layperson. Great service!

I can't say enough good things about my experience going through their EMT program. They don't just teach you things and send you on your way. It's tough, there is a ton of material, and it's a good bit of time & money but it was 100% worth it in my opinion. They genuinely care and want you to succeed, and they would consistently go out of their way to help me understand the information we were going over if it wasn't clicking for one reason or another. Because of everything here, I feel ready to take my next steps into this field. Thank you guys.
