They care for each individual client and their needs, take time out of their days to check in with us, and offer us great advice and support above and beyond expectations. Michael and Stella are the sweetest and most caring people, they truly design the building and program to be holistic care focused, and it works. Also, the best food you’ll ever have. I would not know where to begin if I was to try and tell you about everything that's amazing about Align Recovery Center. I'm sure there are tons of amazing posts on here that go through all the details of the specifics and the tangible things. I will use the opportunity to share that I have had a deeply transformative experience that has changed my life in a more profound way than I ever thought possible, solving almost every single problem I can think of that I've been carrying around with me on my back for the past 30 years. I'm not talking about spending months and months in therapy and about a painful struggle for recovery. And I am talking about complex lifelong intertwined problems of multiple psychiatric and polysubstance abuse disorders. After 3.5 weeks of really hard work i woke up to find that my brain was working in a really different way. The night before I had an experience that I can only describe as some kind of divine intervention, and for anybody that knows me I am the least religious if not the most agnostic person around, so for me to say this is crazy. At that moment I still had some large obstacles in front of me, yet I didn't spend a moment thinking they were not going to be solved. I was so carefree and optimistic about my future that it even worried the closest people around me who care deeply about me that I may not be taking my situation seriously enough. That was three days ago, everyone of those problems have been solved. It's only in retrospect today that I realize the negative patterns of thought that would have interfered with my success over the past 3 days, and there are dozen examples. I never could have made it this far without the people and help from Align Recovery Center. They have not only saved my life but they've given me the ability to live the most beautiful incredible future beyond what I thought would ever be possible. Thank you Michael, Stella, all of your amazing staff, and each of you who are reading this who were there with me and helped me through this incredibly difficult time. And thanks to Savannah and the chickens. I love you all and will never forget any of you for the rest of my life.

Align Recovery Center in Sonoma CA is bar none the best in recovery services in California. Michael and Stella go out of their way to make recovering from Alcohol and Drugs a unique, one on one, taylored to the individual. Everyone is different and that is what makes Align so special. Dr. Alex meets with the person once a week and my first visit with him was an hour and a half long. The counselors are qualifed, caring, and thorough. It's a team effort and they get down to the root of problem. They give you several tools to take with you when you leave. When you leave they help you set up a specialized aftercare program that is structured and will have you feel confident on successfully beating your addiction. You are not thrown out to the wolves in the world. I have confidence that I will maintain my sobriety. The friends I gained at Align will be lifelong and I have a strong support system to remain drug and alcohol free. I am most grateful for experiences I encountered at Align.

Michael & Stella run a magical place with a top tier staff. I came in hopeless, worthless, and surrendered. In 30 days I left a different person. I received individual care as they believe one treatment type does not fit everyone. Case workers, therapist, RN nurses, and an amazing doctor will be there for you every step of the way.

You will be welcomed and taken care of with compassion as soon as you walk in the doors. Amazing food, exeecise, comfy rooms and beds, and Savannah (dog) to play with will help with your recovery. My success is also due to the bond I built with the other residents. We poured our souls and fears to each other. We supported everyone and still connect daily via group chat.

I am sober, my marriage is the strongest it has ever been, I have self worth and happiness, my daughter & I reconcilled (due to help from my counselor Lizzette!), and I have 13 new friends that I know will be there for me.

I didn't want to leave! I'll be back next month for a visit!!

I can’t express my gratitude for Align and their team enough. Quite frankly I was terrified to be away from home and in an unfamiliar place, but after my first week Align already felt like a family to me. I did extensive research on what treatment center to go into, but nothing felt right until I found them.. let’s just say it aligned perfectly.
The team here goes above and beyond to meet each clients needs, and really seems to understand the journey to recovery is a different process for each individual. In one short month I came to understand my addiction and myself on a level I never imagined, and felt loved comforted and supported the entire way. Absolutely amazing place!! They treat you like family and make sure you feel comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, I went here twice and genuinely enjoyed being there both times. The staff is excellent and always treated me super well. The food is incredible!!! They always make sure you’re super well fed. Michael and Stella as well as the rest of the staff are just awesome!
