Dr. Lensky is at the top of her game. She is very knowledgeable and patient with her students. My son enjoyed her classes and I felt that he was prepared as much as he possibly could be for taking his Science talent test. Maya is very professional, always available to answer any questions and quiet down any concerns. Both warm, wonderful people who truly try to prepare their students with as much knowledge as possible to do well on the exams. Very happy to have used their services, highly recommend!

Dr. Lensky is an exceptional person : many years of educational background and personal charisma makes her able to find a key to every student's heart (and mind).
My daughter was attending Science talent prep. course taught by Dr. Lensky. Many of us know that Science is one of the most difficult subjects, and commonly, least favorite among students.
Yet, from the very first lecture I saw an interest in my daughter's eyes. As soon as i picked her up, on our way home she would excitedly re-tell me various interesting facts Dr. Lensky taught her. Furthermore, my daughter was absolutely delighted to participate in numerous scientific experiments that took place almost every lecture.
Also , kids got several opportunities to take mock exams to get a feel of what actual talent test would be like. Afterwards parents received a detailed summary of what needs to be enforced.
"All It Takes To Score" gave my daughter in-depth knowledge of Science ( including physics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, earth science).
My daughter gained confidence and changed her mind : she no longer thinks Science is a "nightmare" subject. In fact now she wants to become a scientist herself. And all of it thanks to Dr. Lensky's hard work.
In addition, I want to mention that whole learning experience was made extremally pleasant because of Maya's professionalism.
She was always prompt to respond to each and every text/email . Several times my daughter needed to have class makeup, and each time Maya came through 100%.
Now, that talent test is just weeks away, both my daughter and I feel ready to face the upcomming challenge. All thanks to Dr. Lensky and Maya.
I can say with confidence that when time will come for my daughter to prepare for SHSAT my first (and only) choice will be "All It Takes To Score".

I feel very fortunate that I have found Dr. Lensky. My son took a physics regents boot camp last semester, in preparation for HS physics regent. Dr. Lensky is professional, experienced and caring educator. She finds an individual approach for every student. Dr. Lensky was always readily available to answer every question and was a supportive and an invaluable resource for my son. For the first time in my experience with my son he actually had an educational interaction that he looked forward to every week. Would highly recommend this center!

We paid $1200 to sign up our son for tutoring in preparation for the NYC Middle School specialized exam. Despite the uncertainty of whether the tests would be administered due to COVID-19, Dr. Liza Lensky falsely assured us that she and her daughter Maya had personally spoken with the Dept. of Education and was 100% confident that the test would be administered as in prior years. On the basis of her assurance, we agreed to Dr. Lensky’s demand that payment be made in full for the 15 course curriculum for media talent as opposed to paying on a per class basis. When I inquired myself with the DOE after submitting payment to Dr. Lensky and Maya, DOE informed me that they had no information on the specialized test and could not say one way or the other whether the test would be administered. On Dec. 18, 2020, the DOE indeed confirmed that no testing would be administered for middle schools this year but selection would be done on a lottery basis.

I immediately called Dr. Lensky and informed her that, contrary to her previous assurances to the contrary, there would be no testing and therefore it would be pointless for our son to continue the prep courses for the media talent exam. I requested that Dr. Lensky refund the unused portion of the fees (2/3 of the scheduled classes). Dr. Lensky quoted their school’s “policy” as being all fees being non-refundable and deferred the decision to her “investors.” I reminded Dr. Lensky of her previous false assurance re. the exam and the unprecedented COVID-19 circumstances warrant that the school put their “policies” aside.

She has not returned any of my phone calls, all of which are being screened by Maya. Dr. Lensky and the school (her daughter Maya) are conducting themselves in a fraudulent manner and look to defraud unwitting parents based on their deceptive and unethical business practices. Please beware!
