I always have confidence in the care of my dog and cat when I go to the Animal Medical Center. There has been a number of vets who worked there in the past , and with the permanent addition of Dr. Mayer, the renewed consistant care is great. Dr.
Mayer is wonderful in her gentle approach and detailed exams. She listens to your concerns and balances her treatments with options and follow ups. Having managed a vet practice myself, I appreciate seeing the great service
from the whole staff. They are an AAHA accredited hospital which is a voluntary program of intensive inspection, in the facility, care management, records, and even continuing education, showing this vet practice has met or exceeds stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of care.
Thank you!

Our almost 5 month old puppy was very unruly, over excited and barking. Dr Mayer and her assistant, Rachel (I think), were so calm and handled the situation well. They were able to complete the exam and shots without any negative effects on Ike. They knew exactly how to calmly handle the situation. We love Dr. Mayer and her team. Always very compassionate.

Nice staff! They are efficient, kind, scheduled appointments run on time, excellent follow up by the office after care. Nice low-key facility that doesn’t stress our dogs out. Very happy to have them taking care of our boys.

I called and made my appointment purely because I share the same name ad one of the doctors there and because we are new to the area and I needed a vet ASAP as my sweet Curly Sue needed to be seen by a doctor. And from the office team to the doctors side to include all staff i encountered there. They treated both my doggie and myself very good and I would recommend them and also will return there if there's ever a need. Thank you to the whole team at animal medical in Woodland Park.

Dr. Mayer is fantastic! I trust her with my dogs! She is compassionate, thorough, and very smart! She uncovered two issues my dog has had that had been unresolved before going to see her. She takes time to listen, understand, and accurately diagnose. Thank you so much, Dr. Mayer! You are great! I love the entire staff too!

We have been clients of AMC Woodland Park for almost 20 years. During that time AMC Veterinarians and staff have provided excellent medical care over the lives of all three of our dogs - two Bichon's and now a Maltichon. Without exception every visit and care event has been wonderful. The staff is always professional, friendly, and accommodating and the medical care provided to our dear pets prolonged the lives of two and is keeping our third pooch healthy and vibrant. We will continue to take our little girl there because we trust them completely.

The staff is so welcoming and friendly. Everyone is familiar with my cat and does everything they can to take care of her. I feel very comfortable each time I need to take my cat to the vet.

The medical center also runs a Doggy Daycare

Was excited at first as I was under the impression that I found the perfect place for my Rosie.
Being a Client for a short time I come to drop of my dog on Monday to find out there is no daycare that day do to what I was told that one employee was no longer there. Did I not get a call? The answer was no. The girl in the front said she could watch my dog and that she would not charge the boarding fee only the daycare are fee 🤦🏻‍♀️ really!!
Ok, so I let that go as I had a prior commitment that I needed to keep
The second situation was when I went to pick up my dog the fee was more than what I was paying and I was not told of a increase prior. 🙃😳 They found out later that was a glitch. But was willing to take my money.

This last situation was over the top. One of the main reasons I started using this facility was the hours of service offered where perfect, and the staff was really nice at the time. Hours I was given for part time was 7:30am to 1:00pm. I was usually picking up my dog by 12:30.
I get there at 7:28 this morning and no one is here yet. 7:30 passes and still no one here. I call hoping someone inside would answer but I leave a message. Finley after much stress someone shows up. I mentioned I would like to speak with Emily the manager when I pick up my dog .
I go to pick up my dog and Emily is not there and no message for me. Another worker that I know begins to firmly lecture me on the hours because they had a situation. She repeated herself three times when I told her I did not need to hear it again. She had the nerve to tell me she needs to repeat herself because I’m not listening 😳
Another worker opens up to tell me she had a situation. Like this is to be my issue. Since I would not hear a repeat this one worker walked away so rudely!!!
It was not about being professional, it was about excuses. Then I was told they would change the time to 8:00, basically if I’m not happy! I’m paying you for a service that was agreed upon based on the information you gave me, now your trying to make me feel guilty for expecting this while treating me so rudely. Then when I continue to converse about any other situations that may arise how can I get the attention of the people that are already inside? There was no resolve. No company should put their clients in a situation to make them feel guilty for something you did and did not set up a plan to execute for situations that may come up. The client should never know about the problems in the company.
And now I’m supposed to trust my Rosie with you, seriously 😐
