My mother has dementia. Regardless of the residents' challenges, the entire staff works as a team, treating each resident with good-natured camaraderie as well as respect. Their attitude is to care for and help each individual with consideration and kindness. Rather than an institutional atmosphere, there is instead a feeling of a friendly community. This is because the staff are friendly, kind-hearted, and positive. ( And this describes all persons there, including administrative, social worker Ann, Chef Tim and his team, recreation, maintenance as well as the nursing staff. ) Their good-natured interaction with my mom and others influences them to feel more relaxed and content, which likewise helps myself and relatives to feel the same.

My mother was completely neglected here. From pills being found on the floor on a daily basis, to transportation not arriving her on time to doctors appointments, to being discharged and within 12 hours having to be rushed to the emergency room for blood clots in legs and lungs, UTI, covid, kidney failure due to dehydration. This place nearly killed my mother!!! There are many patients just wandering the hallways and not attended to. Do not send anybody here! Or work for this company all Apple rehabs are jeopardizing the well-being of human beings.

I have visited different nursing homes. What I love about Chesterfield is they are so caring and so nice toward the patients. To see the workers give so much attention to ones it touches my heart. They are so nice to family members that come in. The place is so homey and has such a warm feeling. My husband and I both recommend this place , that I told them in there if I have to have a knee replacement I want to come to come to chesterfield. I was in a nursing home in 1999 this place excels with warmth.

Very professional yet kind. I was there to visit an aunt and greatly admired the resident to employee interaction. There is a different vibe in the sense that residents are treated equally. It was refreshing and comforting. The rapport that I witnessed between my aunt and the employees didn’t have that usual stark feel that we are all familiar with. While always maintaining professionalism, employee to resident interaction is more courteous and friendly. I had the same sense while observing interactions with other residents. It’s a genuine and unique feel that leaves me with the sense that my aunt is amongst friends and not employees. I reiterate that professionalism was always maintained.

Unfortunately I need to give APPLE REHAB one star in order to write a review...
Families are OUTRAGED Apple Rehab is participating with helping hospitals and admitted a COVID POSITIVE PATIENT into Chesterfields! We were Covid Free, now have 2 positive residents and 2 positive staff!
We have requested a meeting with Karen Danofrio, Director of Operations and are being completely ignored. Families want answers. We have brought our loved ones to Chesterfields to be cared for and kept safe. This by far not being cared for and they are not being kept safe!!
Highly disappointed in APPLE REHAB. They should be ashamed to have done this without notifying families, staff and Residents!!

This facility used to be good years and years ago. Now the management is unfriendly, unprofessional and disorganized. I'm very upset with the way they treat patients in their facility. Leave them in bed all day and as soon as the family comes to visit they act like they're on top of everything. The staff doesnt know how to deal with elderly the correct way and its very disappointing. It takes a certain kind of person to be in health care. You have to be mature, kind, have patience and be understanding.
