Really an amazing tutoring place for Math, English, Reading and more. My daughter is learning Math with Brian and she really improved more than a grade level in a short amount of time. My son was studying with Vicky English and now my both kids moved from being behind in class to the top of their class. The center feels like a family. Sergio the Director managed to put a really top notch tutoring center. And it’s inexpensive because it’s a non profit organization. I really recommend anyone who needs tutoring to go there.

My daughter was extremely frustrated and upset on the subject of math. She was convinced she would never be able to get “unconfused.” It took but a couple of classes with Brian to unravel all that and begin to make forward progress.
I am delighted to say that after just a few months of weekly lessons, my daughter has become proficient in all the math she needs to know at 6th Grade level.
Her confidence and general happiness is way up because of this. I thank Brian and do highly recommend the tutors at Applied Scholastics.

My daughter started with Applied Scholastics after they were recommended to us. Over the years she has had many math tutors and none of them really worked for her. But I like how Applied Scholastics approaches their work. They do an evaluation so they know what areas your child needs to work on and they start from there. In Kumon they just give your child basic addition and subtraction work and leave them to struggle. The tutors are also very flexible with their schedules and explain subjects clearly. We have been working with Brian for more than a couple of months now. He’s very patient and flexible, going out of his way to make sure that students understand the work given to them. We appreciate all the work that AS has been doing and highly recommend their tutoring services.

My 11 year old granddaughter was saying she couldn't do math. She was stuck in some places back in second grade when the covid mandates caused her to leave school. Now she is fully up to grade level and understands how to apply it in everyday life!

I am so grateful that my children were able to get their education using the Applied Scholastic’s method of education. In this method the emphasis is on making sure the children understand what they are studying and that they can use it in the real world. This leads to stable, confident, and competent children who can reach their goals in life or at least hold down a job. A good education is the basis for many things in life. We have five kids and none of them ever need to ask us for money. The investment in effective education was the best thing that we could have ever done for them. I highly recommend Applied Scholastics.
