My daughter is admitted into her dream school through early decision admission and she is going to college soon in a few months. As her parents, we really appreciate all the advice and support she has received from AE throughout her entire high school experience.

Julie has started to work with my daughter as her college counselor since 9th grade. She regularly met with my daughter to guide her planning high school activities from very early on and led her every step of the way. Summer camp, academic tutoring, college summer program application, extra curriculum planning and application, volunteering opportunities, interview training… The list can go on and on. With Julie's advice throughout the last 4 years, my daughter was able to build a strong package of extracurricular activities, campus leadership and volunteering experience.

College application process can be very hectic and stressful for a family. Julie made our life much easier with her professional expertise and dedication. She spent many hours with my daughter on essay preparation-brainstorming, revision and polishing, and navigated my daughter through the application processes. We are very thankful to Julie and the entire staff at AE for their outstanding professional expertise, tailored development plan, and last but not the least caring and enthusiasm.

John is an AWESOME tutor! He’s the best tutor I’ve known thus far. Some tutors boast how good they are, but how do you define good? My definition is that a good tutor should love what he’s doing and genuinely cares about his students. With my story, John exceeds my expectation by getting back to my kid whenever she’s in need. Even when John doesn’t have time for a last minute appointment, he would still get back to us with some helpful tips so my kid would know what to do. I think he serves as a great example for all tutors. BTW the company is cool too, friendly staff and nice refreshments.

Finally there is a tutoring center where my kids actually enjoy being there. John and the rest of the instructors are very passionate and that makes a huge different. My kids are more confident and they not only like doing home work, but also are excited to work on more challenging assignments. I have always thought college essay is just a matter of editing and proofreading. My consultant Julie really opened my eyes by showing me the difference between a mediocre and a catchy essay. I'm glad I didn't just edit my essay grammar then submit a sorry content that would make me feel very sorry when I get rejected. After I worked with my consultant, the essay became so "powerful" not in the way that's over polished like many other consultants suggested, but in the way I feel I could express my true self in a very concise and strong manner. I was sort of late to ask for help, I can't speak enough at how fast and experienced Julie helped me completing the application. The result speaks for itself, I got admitted to my dream school. I had an opportunity to go on one of the camp programs with Mr. Ma to the high mountains in Taiwan briefly. There was so much to learn and see, lots of wows. Apprentice really put in a lot of effort in making their outside school activities special. I want to major in business in the future, and they're showing me what it takes to run a import/export business. I hope their camp can be longer during the summer.
