The proof is in the pudding. My son started here having zero experience swimming and in a matter of months, he was swimming on his own. We've been here for almost two years and the progress he continues to make is amazing! He is extremely confident while swimming and we have absolutely zero worries having him swim in different pools unassisted. The coaches are fantastic and the app is extremely easy to use, especially when it comes to rescheduling or booking make-up classes. I would highly recommend them!

We have loved all the coaches we have worked with at AquaTots in New Albany. The desk staff are always pleasant, patient and helpful. Our now 3yo went from screaming and terrified to excitedly saying "today is swim class and I get to see my buddy!" every week. It is so comforting to see the level of care and confidence that has been provided to our daughter.

My son Trevor is 2.5 and is a level 2 minnow and has been in enrolled at Aqua Tots New Albany since he was 5 months! Being enrolled early kept him from ever developing a fear of water or swimming. Anytime we go swimming at other pools, people compliment his confidence and swimming skills. He can also hold onto the edge of the pool and work his way to a ladder or stairs and even climb out from the edge of some pools.

His coaches are the absolute best and are all so kind-hearted. He had Hannah for almost all his tadpole classes and he adored her and still gets excited to see her. Currently we have Theresa and she gives great instructions and feedback to advance his skills. We have had most of the coaches in either makeup or as subs and they are really all extraordinary!

I look forward to see his skills progress but will be slightly bummed when he starts the next level and is in class without a parent because it is also a great bonding experience! I recommend Aqua Tots to anyone with kids especially newborns! Start them early and stay consistent!

Today was our first day and I was so nervous on how it would go. Well, it was absolutely wonderful! The employees at the front desk were incredibly nice and helpful. The swim instructor was experienced, patient, and did such a great job with my first-time-swimming toddler! The pool & facility were clean and there are plenty of seats for parents/ family to watch their little swimmers! I highly recommend this place and am so excited to kick off our swim lesson journey!

Aqua-Tots New Albany is a great swim school, if we didn’t move we would still be going there. If you’re in the area I would recommend coming here.

After 2 years, my favorite things were staff, comfortable seating, abundance of seats, staggered class start times to prevent over crowded changing rooms, of course the free dum dum sucker and the coloring table or rotating seasonal theme.

Shout out to some exceptional staff members, Eric, Grace, Hannah, Kaleese, Bella, Aspen, Bri, Ray and many more who’s names are escaping me.

Some of the changing room doors could use a bit of attention. A few doors are too hard for a child to lock. Also I do wish my kids showed more progress faster, but we did only swim 1 day a week and they do recommend 2-3 days a week.

The app worked well enough for scheduling multiple kids at a time to do makeup lessons. We loved the updates on progress and stars earned.

Had a membership for 7 months and my kid did not actually swim, not even a lap, once.

His response after my concerns of my son not advancing, we asked if we could show them a video of how well my son swims so he could be placed in correct level. . And they oddly refused.

We met a 40 year professional aquatic team's coach and got her advice. I'll give 3 stars because I enjoyed our coaches very much, but overall my son could improve swimming lessons for hundreds of dollars less being on a professional swim team. And specifically the owner at this location is very unprofessional and very unkind.

**UPDATE** The owner contacted me about our concerns and instead of trying to fix the issue in a professional manner and apologize or anything or for not paying attention to the clear progress of our child, he was very rude and strongly encouraged us to not return in a disrespectful tone, even my son's Dad was angry at the way he was coming at him on the phone call. Instead of handling our concerns kindly and professionally, or to satisfy or keep us there in any way. We did not ask for money back at all, but yet he said he will not be due to my google review, but in the end ending up giving some back. I've worked in customer service and this was the most unprofessional way to handle a situation like this... Easy solution in my head, just give my kid the test to advance him so he can prove it, get placed in the level he needs, and carry on. We were not given that opportunity. The owner said that this original google review I left I said that I absolutely HATE the place and he did not understand my concerns which was out of pure confusion and concern from a mother's point of view wanting whats best for my child in the program that I pay for... This, I want to make clear, is not true, that I do NOT hate the place. Our instructor, Bella, was phenomenal and a truly wonderful coach. The people were wonderful. However, whomever she reports to and the policy they have to follow that is not allowing advancement is what I do not like. For the same price he can swim with a coach 5 days a week instead of 30 min barely being paid attention to his true swimming skills. They need to pay attention to each childs individual growth and progression, which the program failed my son to do so. He is beyond floating and having water splashed on his face...Why isn't he actually swimming? We have been members for 6 months and they still don't have him actually swimming. He is breast stroking and much more at local pools we visit as fun and a swim coach came up to us in amazement at the talent of my son and already thought he was on some sort of swim team. (Aqua tots does not even have him swimming yet.) We asked Aquatots if he could please take a test to prove he is ready to advance, they promised to give for our next visit, the following Sunday, and did not. That was a month ago. We went on vacation and haven't been able to do any make up days or speak in person (again) about this.

Aqua tots does not progress the kids when they are ready to progress, probably to just make more money out of you. ** My son swims laps, strokes his arms, kicks, swims REALLY well he belongs in a much higher level, a swim coach came up to us at the pool the other day and was amazed at the talent he has and asked him to join the swim team because of his skills**...but Aqua tots still is splashing water on him. He was clearly ready to advance months ago. They don't even have him swimming laps at aqua tots he's just on the edge, when at the pool he swims full 5 ft deep laps alone, no assistance. Do not let Aquatots take advantage of not progressing your child if you know he/she is better than where they are at... it's a ripoff. We are switching to the swim team so he can actually progress in the position he belongs where it is actually recognized by the coach.

We have been coming for about a year now and to see the progression our daughter has made is amazing. The coaches are all great and patient with the kids. She loves coming to each week and even practices in the bathtub now.
