This is a great organization representing the educational staff throughout Arizona not only in the Phoenix area but also in rural Arizona. The AEA will fight for your rights in the legislature and work with local school districts to ensure that proper funding is directed to our schools. Right now they are helping the RedforEd movement which is trying to appeal to the governor's office to fund Arizona schools. Our children are our greatest asset. They are located on Palm Lane and 3rd Street. Support the AEA because they are working for the educational system in Arizona to flourish.

Woah how times have changed!!!!

Two years ago a left a review calling the union toothless lapdogs...and now I'm eating my words. I humbly recant that review!

Thanks to my local union, I've received pay that otherwise I wouldn't. A union rep still helped me when I wasn't a member. Over the years I've met some really awesome reps that have helped me.

Please support your reps and your union! They really are makin' stuff happen as they can, but it's a complex and messy battle!

I was a member of AEA for almost 10 years. They took money out of my bank account twice month for almost a decade. The one time I needed help, not only did it take themselves days to do so, but then they assign a low grade lawyer to represent me in a serious case. I couldn’t even get him to answer Joan phone. I said forget it and got my own attorney out of pocket and they helped with NOTHING. So I get fed up with it and decide to cancel, they tell me the year cancelled my membership and never even told me bc I worked for a garter school. Save you’re time and money and pick you’re own attorney.

This is a Union that forces teachers to join and pay dues or they can't teach. This organization is corrupt and a huge reason why the teachers are not being paid well. Finland's schools are top in the world and shorter school days is the solution to help lessen the burden on teachers and increase student success.
