My dad and I took two months of dance lessons with Cristina and Gabe. I'm a former dancer, but even I learned new techniques and moves. My dad is not a trained dancer, but they were both fantastic teachers for both new and trained dancers alike!
I highly recommend Cristina and Gabe if you're looking for dance lessons or a fully choreographed wedding dance!

We were gifted a dance lesson at Arthur Murray Dance Center, such a great and unique gift! That one lesson turned into a few more! From our first meeting, the entire staff was so welcoming and encouraging! Andrew took us under his wing and really showed us how to make our first dance so special! He gave us so much advice to help with our steps, our turns, and of course, a much requested dip! Andrew even helped cut our first dance song to make it the perfect length, including all the right moments we wanted from the song! Every moment spent at the studio was fun and truly relaxed! We can’t wait to go back for some fun dancing date nights!

Joining the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Glastonbury two and a half years ago has got to be, hands down, one of the greatest things I have ever done for myself! When my husband and I decided to take advantage of a discount coupon for intro lessons, I did not realize that such a decision would change my life forever. Each day I am in the studio, the magic of dance is brought out of me by my excellent instructor and all the dedicated, caring and compassionate staff members who give their all to make this my home away from home.

My experience with Arthur Murray studios in Glastonbury has been life changing. I started with a desire to learn country 2 step partner dancing and 1 year later I have Initiated my learning process with 12 different styles of dance ( Salsa, Bachata, Merengue , Rumba , Mambo, Tango, Cha cha ,East coast swing, Waltz, Foxtrot , Country 2 step, Hustle and am currently playing around with the Lindy Hop). My instructor, Duncan, has been very supportive in my training, teaching me steps and style, bringing me fun and joy as I learned more and more the art of dance. His talent as an instructor has brought many of his students awards at dancing events and there is no student who ever walks away without a "dance hug" , feeling accepted/ welcomed no matter what level they are at. He tackled the task of bringing a novice like me with no understanding of how to dance ,leading me to my first solo award in Country 2 step this year. But it is not just about one instructor in the Glastonbury studio. It is truly a team event with every instructor sharing their gifts and friendship as you learn in private lessons, group sessions with instructors/ peers and Friday party event nights with plenty of dancing. Dancing is a great way to get fit and stay active . Glastonbury AM studio has become a wonderful family of friends being there for each other, encouraging you to achieve your best ability to dance. I would highly recommend you take your first step to learn how dance can change your relationships and open your heart to a new joy.

Joining Arthur Murray has been a life-changing experience! I began dancing for fun in January 2024 with no dance experience and can now do 10 different styles of dance (hustle, swing, tango, cha cha, merengue, rumba, waltz, bachata, salsa, and foxtrot)! My instructor, Ben, has been so supportive in my training and is a fantastic teacher to take lessons from. Every lesson is guaranteed to include laughter and he will go out of his way to ensure that you feel confident in your dancing. His dedication is appreciated and it’s an honor to dance with him! It has been so easy to build a rapport and friendship with not only all of the instructors, but the other dancers as well. We are truly like a family! There are also many fun events like weekly parties, formal events, group classes, outings like Salsa on Pratt Street in Hartford or a summer camp at Boulder Ridge in Barkhamsted, and so much more! By joining Arthur Murray, you will have the opportunity to build life-long friendships, have fun, and grow as a person and a dancer!
