I am very impressed! Alex is an excellent teacher in Calculus. My son took AP Calculus AB his Sophomore year, if not for a highly organized tutor like Alex he would have not secured his high scores. Alex relates well to students and is super friendly to work with. He helped my son understand complex problems very quickly and made him very strong conceptually in Calculus. Alex is very supportive and addresses every problem with great detail. I am very grateful to have found such an outstanding tutor. I would highly recommend Alex if you are looking for a knowledgeable Math tutor. Alex's patience and his background in education and experience with students allows him to quickly formulate a plan for success. He guides the student on how to critically think and independently study to take the stress out of learning Math. Alex has very flexible schedules and is very easy to work with. He takes special interest on his students and works with them after class times over phone or texts if they have any questions. My son did his AP Calc AB test really well this year and I will credit Alex completely for that. My son will be working with Alex his junior year too on Calculus BC.

Dedicated, patient and flexible!

Alex was a life-saver during my Advanced Statistic class! I am certain I would not have passed the class without his exceptional tutoring, but in fact, I got an A!! He was able to explain the complex concepts in a way that helped me to learn the equations as well as understand the reasons behind the equations. In addition, he was extremely flexible with my ever-changing work schedule. Even when we weren't meeting, Alex was available via telephone, email and text to answer my questions.

By far Alex is the best math tutor I have ever worked with (I'm terrible at math so have worked with many). I HIGHLY recommend him!

My daughter first began working with Alex as she entered into the 8th grade, where she had been struggling with algebra. Over the five years that we have known Alex, he has been nothing but helpful to us, assisting my daughter in subjects such as algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. Alex not only helps my daughter with her materials, but he also helped her learn new and more efficient study habits; which have helped her tremendously throughout her high school career. He was flexible with scheduling, and was also extremely patient with her. My son is in HS and he struggled with math most of last school year. He had to take a math remediation class summer to be able to move up in math the next school year. I found Alex on a tutors website and after talking to him over the phone we made arrangements to have him come home and help my son. Alex is not only very knowledgeable but his tutoring method is really good. He makes math look easy and he was very supportive of my son's learning process. On times, My son needed more time than the one we have scheduled but Alex was always willing to adjust his agenda to make sure my son was ready to move to next lessons. My son passed his math test which would have been very difficult to do without Alex.

Well, I think you would be challenged to find a better math tutor for high level math in Phoenix. Alex is incredibly flexible (SO IMPORTANT), ability to work effectively to the highest HS math levels, and is just a super nice and straightforward guy. Sometimes we need him a lot, other times not as much, and it's been wonderful to have Alex's support. We have another child in the pipeline that we are looking forward to working with Alex!!

Without Alex I would not have passed both my math classes! I was enrolled in math 210 at ASU and struggling to get a C but Alex helped me pass with an A. I also took math 217 at Rio Salado and Alex helped me through the class and I was able to pass with an A with ease and get a 95% on the final. Alex was by far the best math tutor ive ever had, he has been a math tutor for so long he knows the ins and outs of the classes and can help you learn information that is important. If you are in need of a math tutor I would not hesitate to go with Alex!

Alex was my tutor from A-Squared Math Tutors and he was amazing! He has been on my side for the last 3 math classes I've had at ASU. He really knows math like no other tutor. Alex finds a way to simplify math in a way that its as clear as day to understand. He is very patient and reliable. He has helped me in Mat 210 which is brief calculus, Stp 226 Statistics, and now in Mat 211 Math for Business Analysis. He is always there when I need him, even last minute study sessions. He has to be one of the best tutors ever. I've tried a couple other tutors from the valley and none of the compare. Alex makes you feel like a friend and you can tell he really cares. A-Squared math tutors are the only tutors I would recommend.
