For the last two years I used ALS of Cheshire to help care for my mom after she fell and broke her shoulder in five places. Soon after it became evident she needed even more care than daytime help. Each time, they sent me some of the best caregivers who took great care of my mother many of who developed loving friendships with my mom. I continued using their services when I had to move my mom to a memory care facility. If I had not had these wonderful women telling me what was really going on at that place, I am positive my mother would have passed much sooner than she did. I would definitely recommend ALS of Cheshire if you need good caregivers.

Superb experience and a caring, well established organization.

In looking for an in home caregiver for my mom with Alzheimer’s, I interviewed multiple agencies with a list of about 3 doz questions. The experience from day one with Assisted Living Home Care Services was miles apart from others. I was promptly connected with Hope Chapman who spent an hour on the phone with me thoroughly answering all of my questions and honestly it felt like speaking with a friend. Being able to speak with the right person with just one phone call vs fill out a survey or book an appt or wait for a call back is exactly what you need in this kind of personal and sensitive scenario looking for quality care for a loved one.

Hope was kind, genuine, informative, patient, empathetic, relatable and passionate about the organization. She was able to draw from personal experience with her mom as a current client further building credibility. We decided to move forward with an in person assessment and the positive experience continued with my parents.

Post sales cycle, I’m thrilled that Assisted Living Services continued to deliver. My mom was matched with an amazing caregiver and as promised, Hope was there on day one to help ease the transition. Caregiver Cindy, while fairly new to the organization, has a wealth of experience both personally and professionally and really hit things off with our family. We found her to be personable, engaging, kind, and a natural care taker. It’s been 2 weeks thus far and we are very pleased; she seems to be a great fit and my mom looks forward to their time together. The peace of mind it brings my family is invaluable.

I’ve also been impressed with all various touch points, from being able to speak with a live, helpful associate when calling in with a question to being promptly connected with the main POC for billing. Suzanne was super helpful and informative and gave out her direct line if I ever had additional questions or needed help.

I’ve worked for organizations who received the highest awards globally for exemplary customer service and Assisted Living Home Care Services has been amongst the best, if not superior.

Kudos to the ALHCS team for going above and beyond and being exactly what you need during what can be a very difficult time.

At first I was a bit leery of having people I did not know come into my home to care for me, but ALS came to interview me before anyone was sent to help me. The interview was mainly to ensure that personalities of the aide and myself would be compatible. When the aides did come, I could not have been more pleased. As well as caring for me and helping me, we had many fun conversations and good laughs together. The three aides I had were all very caring people, and showed a great deal of initiative to see what chores and/or care were needed. I am now recovered and no longer needing assistance, but I will miss the visits of these aides, whom I now consider as new friends. Thank you ALS!

We have been using this agency for about 2 years and have had our caregiver NICOLA for just over a year. Nicola has been WONDERFUL with our mom, every day, since we met her! Mom’s health has declined over the past year & “Nikki” has stepped up and is doing even more work and more caring for mom daily. She is professional, but silly and chatty with mom as well, & communicates with our family constantly about moms needs and daily info.
