My 86 year old mother called with a question regarding class reunions. The young gentleman answering the Alumni Association main line could not answer her question but went in search of the information. He came back with another phone number and offered to connect her. The phone rang more than 20 times and a machine picked up. My mother is old school and doesn't leave voice-mail messages. She wants a real live person. So sad. When Auburn is wanting money from an alumnus all sorts of real live people call. But when that alumnus needs a question answered, all they get is a machine. Not sure what the fees are going for but sure don't feel like we're getting anything but crickets. Love Auburn! But very disappointed in the Alumni Association.

The Auburn Alumni Association is a great investment after you graduate college. I joined years ago as a lifetime member. You receive quarterly magazines that keep you updated on Auburn's happenings and other graduates. There is a section where you can check news submitted by grads from your year. They have a lot of activities and appreciate their Alums.
