Amazing experience at Austin Driving school. I took lessons and the road test with them.

My driving instructor was very knowledgeable, thorough and reassured me throughout the lessons.

There was a bit of a wait time to get scheduled in for lessons but they managed to get me lessons sooner than they originally said.

I liked the examiner too. She told me expectations when I got in the vehicle and asked if I had questions. I felt her instructions during the test were clear. At the end she explained what points she took off and I too was aware of the areas I didn’t do too well in.

Overall the process was smooth and I would recommend ADS. I was anxious about driving and also going to test at the DPS. But the team took really good care of me.

To the Austin Driving school team- and a shoutout to my instructor Mr M (and Dawn), I know you see a lot of students come and go and I may have been one in 1000 but thank you for making my experience of learning how to drive in the USA a great one. I am truly grateful.

The proctor / owner was rude and grumpy with my extremely polite teenage son taking his driving test. He was very late and made no apologies . And had to pay an additional $45 for the rescheduled time due to the Aceable certificate date (was not told when making the initial appt) printed wrong and they made no exception or seem to care. They obviously don’t like Aceable students- my experience Would not recommend for your teenager!
**the lady that took our paperwork was very kind, She handled the paperwork with care and was professional.

I'm not going to gatekeep because I feel this is important, especially for those that are nervous drivers and get nervous during tests. But if you get the female test proctor, she's notorious for failing people. Be extra careful and vigilant if she ends up being your road test proctor. My son was an ADS student and she still failed him. He was not parent or self taught so if he failed, that would be on ADS not on the parent.

He eventually passed his retake a week later with FLYING COLORS with a different proctor!!!

The ladies inside were super nice and extremely helpful and bilingual! They are very patient and super efficient. Kudos to them they truly run that place!!

I did my driving test with Maria. She was very patient and very clear in her instructions. It was really easy to schedule the test; they have plenty of availability. I would definitely recommend it.

Terrible customer service. Susan at the front desk clearly needs additional training. This facility does not send confirmation emails for classes or tests, nor do they provide clear instructions on what is required for testing. I had the necessary paperwork but had to search for it on my phone because I wasn’t sure what to bring (which I had mentioned beforehand). Instead of being understanding or helpful, Susan insisted on rescheduling my appointment and dismissively said, “I’m not calling you a liar, but we know what we send to people”—completely unprovoked and unprofessional. She showed no empathy, just rude and condescending energy. Thankfully, this was a one-time visit, but it’s disappointing to see people in customer-facing roles who lack both courtesy and competence.

Instructor Parra took my test, and she was very rude. I have been driving for 12 years, in Asia, Europe, still she failed me and didn’t even provide proper explanation. Although, Elizabeth was really helpful. The instructor on the other hand was worse, would never recommend, instead go to north Austin branch it’s way better

Regarding your answer, according to your philosophy, I don't know how to drive when I have driven for 17 years and in 3 different cities in Europe without any problem. In that sense, I came to Houston, I took the test drive without any problem and it was approved, I attach a photo of the test. The problem you have is that you are frustrated, incompetent, paranoid, arrogant. You believe that I invented the universal driving laws around here and you answer the faults that I supposedly had, but when I got out of the car you told me totally different things. I give you free advice, explain yourself well, speak clearly, concisely, without detours, get straight to the point, don't believe the GOD of the steering wheel. It's a shame that all the negative comments from the driving school are directed towards you. there is some problem then. Maybe you are the one with the problem. God bless you
