This place has been absolutely amazing. As first-time parents, we were naturally anxious about the transition to daycare, but this place has completely surpassed our expectations! The staff has made us feel so welcomed and reassured. The level of attention and dedication they show is beyond amazing.

Our daughter has blossomed here. She has learned so much, genuinely thriving. The teachers are not just caregivers; they're nurturers who treat each child with respect.

The daily updates and photos we receive give us peace of mind and bring so much joy to our day. The environment is clean, safe, and filled with enriching activities that keep the kids engaged. We can't thank the team enough for creating a positive and supportive space for our little one to grow.

BFA New Albany has been wonderful for our family. The communication, facility, and food are all excellent, but it's really the people that make the place extra special. They go above and beyond to provide personalized care and attention to our son and family. Mark and Cynthia are such great owners/managers of the facility that we never have anything to worry about. We appreciate them so much and highly recommend this daycare.

The BEST childcare center in the New Albany area hands down and I toured them all, I recommend this center to everyone I know with children . I was hesitant to start my son in daycare because he has never been watched by anyone outside of myself, husband and family but after the first week I felt so comfortable . He LOVES the teachers at this center Brooklyn , Faith, Hope and Emily are exceptional , and I appreciate them so much!!

I’ve been at BFA for almost a year as both a parent and teacher. I can honestly that BFA - New Albany is an experience I would recommend to any parent looking for care or for teachers, a career to blossom in! Everyday my child is in attendance at BFA she’s guaranteed to have a great day and doing something engaging! She always has fun stories to tell me of teachers, friends, and activities! The teachers at BFA- New Albany are unmatched, I may be biased but I love how every teacher makes it a point to make sure every child has the same experience as my own! They are so loving and engaging and always willing to learn and support one another where it’s needed! My little one has been enrolled at Balanced Family Academy New Albany since he was just a few months old. He is now just over a year old. As a first time parent who myself was raised with a stay at home mom, I was all sorts at first - sad and excited to be going back to my day job outside the home that I enjoy, but concerned and guilty about leaving my little guy who had had some early feeding difficulties with essentially strangers at a daycare. But my experience at BFA New Albany has been such a relief due to the wonderful staff and the owner who have been amazingly accessible, kind, responsible, accommodating, and caring people I am glad and comforted to have now in my child’s life. I love that this daycare is not too big and not too small. We had tried part time at a different daycare closer to home thinking we’d transition due to location convenience but that other daycare happened to be about twice as big and I missed the personal individual attention we had grown accustomed to at BFA New Albany. BFA New Albany is big enough and part of a larger franchise that they have adequate staffing and resources and can share best practices. There are fun joint events with nearby BFA Gahanna often. But it is small enough though that you can actually get to know the staff and vice versa. Almost every time we come in to BFA New Albany, staff greets my kiddo by name and shows genuine interest. It is small enough that even in the hallways we’ll get a nice “hello” by name, and likely some comment about an interaction the staff member had with him recently. The owner Mark I can’t say enough good things about. Though he is an owner, he is also actually regularly present on site and actively part of the day to day ongoings. (This is not a franchise where an owner provides capital and is removed from the day to day activities / just hires a building director to actually oversee operations like how other daycares might be structured.) I have seen owner Mark do a variety of things - prepping to run staff meetings, setting up holiday/special event displays, changing diapers, feeding kiddos, chatting with parents, to even sweeping the front entryway himself - and all with friendly and humble gusto! And this doesn’t include all the behind the scenes work he does too! He seems to set a positive genuine tone and it shows in the staff retained and the obvious teamwork apparent among them. My son is meeting his milestones and staff is very open to communicating about what they are seeing and doing with him so it helps to align activities at home for consistency- especially for positive habits we’re trying to nurture. During the day I can check or message staff directly in an app this daycare uses that is very user friendly. Overall, it is truly a blessing to be able to drop off my kiddo feeling comfortable he is receiving great care. I would wholeheartedly recommend this daycare without hesitation!

BFA New Albany is our home away from home. Not only do they have amazing food, activities, outdoor play, etc., but the staff could not be more incredible. Mark and Kristina meet us with compassion every day, regardless of the situation. It’s obvious they genuinely care about each child and family as if they were their own. The teachers also go above and beyond to serve our son with love, grace, and kindness. Special shoutouts to our beloved Tiger family—Miss Iyanna, Miss Lopezia, Miss Tiseari, and Miss Sam! The facilities at Balanced Family Academy of New Albany are outstanding. The classrooms are bright, clean, and filled with age-appropriate toys and educational materials. The outdoor play area is spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of equipment to keep the kids engaged.

Staff:
The staff at Balanced Family Academy of New Albany are well-qualified and incredibly nurturing. The staff-to-child ratio is excellent, ensuring each child receives individual attention. My child has developed a close bond with their caregiver, who is always attentive and caring.

Curriculum and Activities:
The curriculum is well-rounded and promotes both academic and social development. They offer a variety of activities, from arts and crafts to music and movement (Yoga), ensuring that every day is different and stimulating for the kids. They also have a great balance between structured activities and free play.

Communication and Feedback:
Communication with parents is superb. We receive daily updates through a dedicated app, including pictures and notes about our child’s activities and progress. There are also meetings to discuss development milestones.

Meals and Nutrition:
Meals provided are nutritious and cater to different dietary needs. They offer a good variety of fruits, vegetables, and balanced meals, ensuring that children get the necessary nutrients.

Overall Experience:
Our child is always excited to go to Balanced Family Academy of New Albany. The environment is safe and loving, and we have seen significant positive development in our child’s behavior and skills. The fees are reasonable for the quality of care provided, and we feel it offers great value for the money. Highly recommended!

We have loved our experience at BFA- New Albany! The teachers are so welcoming and loving. They work with us and our son to ensure his development and growth. He is a happy boy there! The administrators are communicative and supportive! We see BFA as an extension of our family and are confident in the care our son receives when we drop him off. In addition to great care, they also take some of the load off parents by providing nutritious meals, diapers/wipes, and awesome experiences! We are very pleased with our decision and highly recommend BFA- New Albany!
