The love and dedication that every single staff member in every department has invested into Belmont Village SUNNYVALE is unparalleled. Each and every resident that resides here is very special to me. I take pride in coming into work and just knowing that I make a difference every day and that I am working alongside amazing, beautiful, caring and good hearted humans. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is very fancy,warm and welcoming . Belmont Village always has the best theme decor for every season and holiday.
The classes that are offered are led by the most entertaining,enthusiastic and knowledgeable activity leaders. The Memory Care departments have the sweetest and most patient caregivers. I am proud to be one as well.

My husband was at Belmont Village for a short time only before he recently passed away but he and I were certainly impressed by the care he received. Andrea and Michelle, our main contacts at the facility, are very friendly and take care of the issues presented to them in a timely manner. Ed, the building engineer, takes care of maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.The dining room is clean and offers good, delicious and nutritious meals. The nursing and caregiving staffs are on top of things. There are many daily activities the residents can choose from for entertainment. This ship is very tightly run.

I and my wife Terry are very happy to provide an excellent reference and referral to Belmont Village of Sunnyvale. My sister is one of their residents. Tyler Manzo The General Manager, and Andrea Trevino, The Community Relations Manager, And Their entire staff are excellent. Their community provides outstanding and sensitive assisted living and memory care services for both their residents and families. And they are very well known for their excellent memory care activities called Circle of Friends. They also provide 24 hour nursing staff on premises which is very important and provides a great safety net for the residents. The staff is universally friendly and they all know the residents' names. Amazing! Their Circle of Friends "memory enhancement" program is really great. The outdoor courtyard is fabulous if your loved one likes being outdoors. That said, they could do with improvements to their communication skills - everything from answering the phone, sending community newsletters, sending info about Circle of Friends-once in 14 months, coordinating with each other between shifts, to speaking clear English. Some of the dining hall serving staff are slow and inattentive - regularly. The food is good, but not great. Housekeeping does not thoroughly clean the apartments - even simple tasks like dusting are "phoned in." PALs and Nursing staff are not as proactive as you might want. Not horrible, but you do have to advocate on behalf of your loved one if you really need something to be done. I have yet to see (though it may happen when I'm not around) a PAL "notice" bathroom messes and address them, even after going into the bathroom to empty the trash. Overall, I still give them credit considering every resident has different personalities and needs. That's a lot to handle. But it does feel like the staff is mostly just doing the bare minimum unless you advocate (read: complain). Yes, there are exceptions - this is a generalization. There is more than enough good to have me keep my mom there.
