Today was my first time going to this school. I was very impressed. The students that done my hair took their time and really paid attention to detail from the picture I showed them of how I wanted my hair. At the end they even took their time to style my hair. I couldn’t have asked for for a better experience. The price wasn’t bad for everything they did to my hair. This will forsure be my go to place from now on to get my hair done. Thank you for such an amazing first experience.

This school fails to provide the professional environment I expected or what I envisioned as a supportive and inspiring place to pursue a career in the beauty industry. I attended for over three months and gained very little knowledge in theory during that time. Early on, the owner overcharged me by $500. When I brought it to her attention, she deflected blame, suggesting the mistake was on my end. I chose to let it go because I wanted this school to work so badly—it had always been a dream of mine to attend cosmetology school.
However, as time went on, the owner’s behavior became increasingly concerning. Eventually, I decided to address the overcharge again and requested a refund. It took a week of persistent effort, including threats of legal action, to recover the excess payment. The entire ordeal was exhausting and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident; the owner’s actions reflect a pattern of dishonesty, and I would go so far as to call her a scam artist.
The overall environment of the school was equally disappointing. The instructors often spoke negatively about one another behind closed doors and spent more time gossiping in their office than actively teaching. This lack of professionalism created a toxic atmosphere that left students feeling unsupported and unprepared. Many others who have left the program share similar experiences but are hesitant to speak out.
Most students from this school do not feel adequately prepared to pass their state board exams, which is arguably the most important aspect of cosmetology education. I strongly recommend looking into other schools that prioritize their students’ success and provide a professional, educational environment. My experience here fell far short of my expectations and left me deeply disheartened.
