It has gotten better in terms of the staff friendliness. One of the women up front, the young lady is very positive and so welcoming; the other two men are not. Upstairs, there's one woman that is very friendly and accommodating. The others when you're asking to reserve a room it's as if you've done something wrong. they're so skeptical. So I suggest having your staff trained on being very friendly and welcoming (good customer service) because if not, it makes a very unpleasant experience and people are tax paying citizens that deserve just a friendly experience.

Having recently relocated to Bethel, one of my anticipated destinations was the library. Upon my arrival, I was impressed by its pristine condition. As I approached, the warm welcome from the community members brightened my day. Upon entering, I received exemplary assistance in locating everything I needed. Tom, whose expertise in Quantum Physics is truly remarkable, was the first to greet me. Daniel, another staff member, provided invaluable assistance with my resume and offered additional support. Ellen and Helen, the library coordinators and administrators, are invaluable resources for anyone looking to organize special meetings or groups within the community. The library has quickly become one of my favorite places, and I am grateful to Bethel for providing such exceptional support and guidance. Thank you!

Great hometown library. Very clean, great book selection, easy checkout, friendly staff and kids love it.

In addition to the above, they offer a few computer stations, Legos, activity boards and other kid activities. Great resources!

Very friendly staff! Ambiance is quite peaceful as they have wide open spaces.

As of the writing of this review, they're still asking that masks be worn and that you use the hand sanitizer they have by the front door. The circulation desk has excellent plexiglass dividers between patrons and employees.

I'm an avid borrower of DVD's. This library has many tv series that other area libraries don't offer.

I called ahead of time to inquire about borrowing being I am not a resident of the town and asked specially about borrowing a wifi hot-spot (they had 2 available) and was told it would not be a problem, its allowable. Drove 20 minutes to pick one up only to be told they were mistaken. Thank you for the cold apology Patrick. The library should doa better job with training the employees before they field calls.

A surprisingly large library for such a small town. Nearly the size of Danbury Library. So far, I have found every book I was looking for. They also offer programs for kids and a good selection of children's books.
