The 12 week DBT IOP Group Therapy freed me of my daily misery. Anyone that is willing to take the treatment seriously can improve their lives through these programs. Kudos to all the clinicians and to all the clients that are there for their own self-improvement. Happiness is a skill and a personal decision. Any person that believes that these clinicians are no more than glorified social workers is missing the point of all the mental health initiatives. You get out of it what you put into it. I recommend this clinic to anyone who is serious about finding solutions to many, if not all of their personal issues. Four Stars.

Total waste of time. After contacting my insurance for medication assistance for my husband that did not require IOP and calling to make sure IOP was not necessary these people denied my husband medical treatment because we are "out of their jurisdiction" and they mandate IOP". Even tho my husband agreed to do night IOP still denied medical treatment. They referred him to a place that's a longer commute and require IOP as well. All these clincians are just in business to make money on IOP ,nothing else. They have no intentions to help people and are just another statistic for the failing American health system. I'll be reporting to our insurance case manager who personally made phone calls for 3 days to find the proper care that is needed. This place is a joke.
Response: Our insurance contacted your facility in advance to see an APRN with her next availability of 1/23. We just had to set everything up. I called in advance and one of your staff members specifically confirmed that IOP was highly recommended but not mandatory. My husband would have to fill out an intake form and assigned a clinician who would then set up the process for medication. Our case manager let us know that my husband would most likely be put on the oral form of the medication first. Then blood work to confirm no complications to get the injection form of the medication. He was not expecting to get the medication that day we understand there's a process. The narrative changes when my husband goes there. He was told IOP is mandatory and even after confirming that he could take the night IOP the clinician still said they would not provide him any services because we are out of "jurisdiction" and you take patients from the valley only. That's just untrue. It's a 15 min drive, the other facilities that provide this service are 25 -30 min away. Nowhere does it say on your website, or when our insurance called, or when I called or when my husband was greeted by your office staff and asked where he drove from did anyone say that we don't take patients from your area. You have 1 star reviews for a reason.

Hi everyone I been going to bhcare for more than 5yrs so far the services is great love IOP I could only speak from my experience everyone has different mental health problems, now having one on one session is to build confidence with your therapist now according of your struggle therapist my put you in group's for better help you with others clients that are suffering like u ect... I could only speak from my experience. some clients are hard to work with don't want to change but complain about staff not doing they job like I said they're not there to be our friends this is why group's helps with building friendship and be more confident. love everyone don't take my experience as an insult

Off to an okay start, has a long way to go. I would give three and a half stars if it was allowed. Love every single staff and faculty member a part of BH Care I have been in contact with, for the most part. They kind of need to be shallow with you and not too invasive probably due to HIPPA and some sort of fear of being sued. I went here voluntarily, and they have diagnosed me with something pretty heavy anyone would have a hard time with. Since I have no kids, and no court record, I feel as if they considered my case to not be that important. I am not made for medications, and believe it would make my condition worse, and I'm very lucky to be sober and have healthy coping mechanisms. The IOP is ran by very nice people, but I could imagine if someone had to pay they would consider it a waste of money and time. I really came there not knowing what to do with my life, and I'm really hoping my now appointed case worker understands how crucial figuring out what I can do with my life at the age of 32 is very important and I'm at a make it or break it age. I just feel as if since I have been involved since February has been a waste of time when I still can't find a job or what to think of my life. No answers besides a heavy diagnosis. Anyways I love the staff at BH Care and the owner as well, I just wish that I was taken seriously for I am in a crisis there's just no drugs or kids or court involved.

My sister has been going to BH Care for many years. She had a problem in the beginning but when I got power of attorney over my sister. The Doctor and myself sat down and talked about her medicine. Things got straighten out. And things are fine. And I have the up most respect for her counselor Jackie. She is great and has helped my sister alot. And I wanna say thank you Jackie.

I had been going to bhcare for 3 years, if your looking for a place that is going to pass you around from therapist to therapist so you can't rly make a connection with them than this is the place to go. The front desk is so rude, I've had them give so much attitude and hang up on me a few times. They try to push you into groups you don't even need. If you need to go somewhere for a court thing than sure why not. If your looking for actual help and guidance find somewhere else for sure. You have options out there you don't need to settle.

Sincerely believe those social workers need to reevaluate their work ethics. Strongly feel that they're bad at their jobs except for a few charming secretaries!
