Ms Diaz was hands-down the best teacher I’ve ever had. I took her phlebotomy class and it was the best experience ever I would highly recommend her course to anyone. She was easy to understand patient and willing to go the extra mile for students every time. She is the absolute BEST!!!!

Ms Diaz was a great phlebotomy instructor! She’s nice & it really shows that she cares a lot about her students! If you’re looking to become a phlebotomist I highly recommend coming here ms Diaz will have you leaving with all the knowledge you need as a phlebotomist. At Big Apple Training White Plains, I started with the CNA Program, and then I transitioned to Phlebotomy and EKG. During the Phlebotomy class, the information felt overwhelming at first however, our teacher Ms. Diaz broke it down so smoothly. She was so attentive, detailed and patient with us, until we were confident enough to draw blood on our own. I would definitely recommend doing the Phlebotomy course with Ms. Diaz. Thank you Ms. Diaz! You are certainly the best at what you do.

The Phlebotomy course with Ms. Diaz was excellent! I had a great experience, Ms. Diaz taught very well, made sure we all understood the material that was given, and even offered extra help after class and during other class times. She is very professional and patient. I would highly recommend the phlebotomy course in the big apple training.

I had an amazing experience here! Ms. Díaz is an amazing phlebotomy teacher. She deeply cares about her students and teaches everything she has learned from her experience in healthcare. She’s very attentive when students are doing live venipunctures and quickly corrects you when you’re doing something wrong. I was very afraid of needles but this class has helped me become more comfortable with them.

The Technique that is shown to you at Big Apple Training for Phlebotomy is incorrect.. I currently work at LabCorp now and I am being taught a whole different technique, one that is safer for not only you but the patient too. Ms. Diaz is pretty nice but the technique she is showing is incorrect.. you do NOT use TWO HANDS when drawing blood with a straight needle! Oh also you don’t close the needle on a flat surface, you use your thumb .. I would not recommend attending this class because the teaching of technique is wrong, only thing that was correct was the Order Of Draw.

The learning experience at Big Apple with Mrs Diaz was great she is knowledgeable in her field and made learning the course very easy by breaking down in a way you understand it. If you looking to get certified as a phlebotomist go to Big Apple and ask to be place in Mrs Diaz class you won't regret it, she is awesome. I work in this field today and i have gained all my knowledge from her class.
