Great library with alot of history. Very clean and lots and lots of books and movies. They added on and it's alot nicer than the old outdated library was. Plenty of parking

I have used this library since I was old enough to read! Have always loved it, and the staff! But with the remodeling they have done recently, it makes going to pick up a few books a spectacular experience! It is so modern, and has a gigantic room just for younger kids. Even if the tots are too young to read, they have a play area, and glass doors can be closed, allowing adults to choose their books without the noise.

Public libraries should be A political since they are a tax funded entity but unfortunately this library pushes the liberal agenda. Vote no for any tax levy for this library if you live in Sandusky county and happen to be conservative.

Joan was absolutely amazing I can’t thank her enough for taking time out of her day to help me with my resume and cover letter. She really went out of her way for a young adult who has no idea what they are doing with there life because my parents never taught me correctly. So once again thank you Joan for helping me you deserve a raise or somthing special because I know you are a special person who has a kind heart and you deserve a lot in life. Thank you again ❤️❤️❤️

LOVE LOVE LOVE Birchard Library!!!! They have awesome clubs. They hold amazing classes and get togethers! The children's' class is the best! They also offered great homeschooling and teen get together. They offer coffee and spice samples every month.

Staff is discriminatory against the local homeless and uses aggressive tactics like calling the cops for people who aren't breaking the law. Such an awful way to treat people who fell on hard times because of the pandemic and can't find places to live cause there is no housing. The homeless aren't dangerous, thinking they are puts them in danger. Guess it's anti-American to have compassion and empathy in a supposed "Christian" country. Make sure to pay your fines because as with everything else in America this a business instead of a safe place for people to gather. Prepare to see them all over the streets.

It's nice and peaceful here, the markers of the shelves are made with Lego, staff are friendly, and the library hosts events every so often, ranging from board game nights, to full on nerf wars.
