This club has very responsive ownership. They upgrade the facilities every year or two, putting membership dues to work buying new equipment and upholstering their older stuff. They have an excellent sauna which alone is worth the monthly fee!

So I moved to San Rafael. Your Novato membership won’t work there (SR is $40 more)

So I talked to the Novato and SR managers to avoid my last month cancel fee in Novato by joining SR. Zero solutions offered. No service. They wanted my Novato cancel fee even if I started at SR new.

Better customer service keeps customers, who knew?

Question to owner in follow up:
Why couldn’t you start me up at San Rafael and drop your cancellation fee? Is that not reasonable? You can’t say it’s a different system/gym because your system recognizes SR memberships.

I just became a member at the Body Kinetics and I love it.
The people at the front desk are very friendly and nice.
The instructors are also nice and knowledgeable.
The gym has a lot of useful exercise equipment.
There are many classes included in the membership.
I wish I had joined sooner.

I just moved, and I'm so glad I moved close enough to keep going to my gym! I have been a member of Body Kinetics Novato for over a year now, and I love working out there. The staff is all super friendly, and they have experienced, knowledgeable trainers as well. The gym has a wide variety of classes, and they have all the equipment I need. The facility is very clean, and they have a lot of neat perks too, like free stuff and cool package deals. I love my gym!

I love Body Kinetics so much I go to two of them! I used to live in Fairfax so I go to San Rafael for my favorite classes and now I live in Novato so I go up here too.

The trainers in Novato are very helpful and if you ask them questions and they're not with a client they'll always take the time to show you the proper way of doing something. The classes are great too. I had a training sessions with Erik and he taught me a lot about functional training. Even the members are knowledgeable and helpful. Even though it's a small gym I've never not been able to get the machine I wanted.

There are a lot of gyms in Marin to choose from, and I choose Body Kinetics because of the quality of their trainers. Super dedicated and knowledgeable. As a 60 year old man, I don't want to train like the Rock, but rather work on core, stability and muscle tone. My trainer, Tim Schmidt, creates a personalized workout every session, and in 5 years we haven't done the same circuit twice! I value and appreciate that extra effort.

Rebecca, one of the yoga/Pilate class instructor, is also very professional, knowledgeable, calm, open, welcoming, and grounded. These exemplifies good instructors/coaches/teachers/leaders.

Friendly personable trainers and staff available for advice or assistance throughout the day. Great basketball gym as well. Its not full size but it has a hoop at each end, hardwood floors and accurately painted lines for the key. Its great for practicing or playing pickup games.
