Based on my experience, I would not recommend this child care to anyone that is looking for a stable and supportive work environment. The work-life balance is extremely poor with excessive expectations as they regularly expect employees to work long hours. This child care is highly competitive with a lack of collaboration and support among employees. Internal communication is very lacking, often leaving employees feeling uninformed. Lack of flexibility in work schedules, making it difficult to manage personal obligations. And also the lack of a poor communication from directors makes it difficult to thrive there. Favoritism within teams, leading to unfair treatment of certain employees. Limited opportunities for growth and career advancement within the business. If you value a healthy work-life balance and career development opportunities, you may want to look elsewhere. I have no words and I'm very disgusted with the performance of this business. This child care have had 9 licensing violations in the past year that required corrective action. That is a LOT!!!!! of violations. This child care gives a bad reputation for it self. I would not feel comfortable recommending this child care to others. Please do your research when applying for child care.

I feel compelled to write this review because Im not sure we would have survived the first 12 months with twins without Ms Kat and all the teachers at B&E. We adore Bright & Early. The Infant teachers are a dream and made me feel so comfortable leaving my small babies in their care. In fact, I learn new things every day from Kat, Michelle and Maria. They are the best - seriously. I’m confident my girls will have more excellent years at B&E.

Bright and Early has been a great experience for my two boys. The infant rooms are amazing and the staff is very caring and kind. The classrooms are large and they continue to invest in new toys/activities to keep the kids exploring in their rooms. They also spend a lot of time outdoors on a private playground that is nowhere near a main road! Check them out!

My sons only went to this daycare for 3 weeks an I had to take them out,would not recommend you take your child here take my advice an bring your child somewhere else,and they will charge you a yearly fee they don’t tell you about until a couple days before they take your money.👎🏽

We absolutely LOVE Bright and Early! From the moment we took a tour of the facility back in early 2019 we knew this was the perfect place to send our kids. All of the teachers have been so kind. You can tell they truly love and adore the children and take the time to celebrate all of their individual milestones. The director Jeanna is also wonderful. She is very responsive to any individual question or concern and also stays on top of facility-wide communications via Tadpoles. We highly recommend B&E to all!

I do NOT recommend this school for preschool. There is only was classroom and in my opinion, the led by an awful teacher. Rude to parents , and very rigorous with the kids. I honestly believe she is just shaping our kids to become bullies with the ways she runs her class. If you are looking for preschool with a loving caring teacher for your child, with patience and passion for teaching , THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BRING YOUR CHILD. My son had an awful experience in this preschool, to the point that he didn’t want to go to school. Everyday he will tell me “teacher not nice” “I don’t want to go to school”. It was very difficult to go to work knowing that he doesn’t like his class. In my opinion, her style of teaching makes it too difficult for a kid to transition into preschool. I left Bright and Early in October 2022, after giving it a good try in this class, because we couldn’t do it anymore. My child never enjoyed that class. He is in a new preschool now and he is been very happy from day one, never again said those words. Since then, about 10 families from the same class in Bright and Early had left for the same reasons. I know this because we all ended up in the same new preschool in West Hartford. We all agree that Bright and Early is a terrible preschool. I find it ridiculous that that teacher still works as a teacher as she clearly has not potential for the task. I also want to mentioned ,that this preschool fails to provide consistency for the children. During the whole time I was there, they constantly either try to reduce staff or are short of staff. Therefore , they move the kids around into different classrooms ( with random teachers) during the day a lot as much as they want. That is very hard on the kids and on the parents. There are plenty of great preschools in West Hartford , I recommend you take your time to look for the right one and not end up in this Bright and Early branch. In my case, even though I explained to the director my kid didn't want to attend anymore and though tantrums every morning before going to school for that reason , even though I talked to the director and explained that this teacher was verbally abusive to me in front of all the children, and that I don't consider her good for the task, ... even with all of that they refused to give my deposit back without two weeks noticed. I think is safe to assume that if your child doesn't like here and you have to go, you won't be getting your deposit back without sticking around for a another two weeks

Transitioning back to work after I had my daughter was so difficult. I am so thankful for the Bright and Early staff who made that transition much easier. I know my daughter is in great hands and do not worry while I’m at work. The teachers are amazing and care for the children like their own.

Bright and Early West Hartford has the most considerate teachers. I saw the playground while in building, and it is the best playground geared to all ages around the area. I give B&E 5 starts because of their lovely directors who help the lucky children grow to become a success!
