I love BrightPath Glastonbury! The admin team and teachers are all so welcoming, kind and are very accommodating. As soon as you walk into the center you can see how much the staff care about the children and families. We have been here for 4 years and would recommend it to anyone!

Each of the teachers we have had at Bright Path Glastonbury (formerly Educational Playcare) have been a part of our village. The staff are amazing and pay great attention to the needs of the class as a whole and the individual kids.

The facility, playgrounds, classrooms, and staff provide so much more than we could at home.

We are happy to see the center invest in its teachers so heavily-we have seen many assistant teachers move on to have their own classrooms. It stinks in the short term but very happy to see professional growth, development, and retention.

I would NOT recommend this daycare.
My boys were almost 1.5 and 2.5 upon starting, and after giving it almost 6 months, we realized that the many issues here were unique to this facility and not daycares in general. We moved them to another daycare nearby, and all of us could not be happier at FFL.
From the beginning, I had a lot of minor concerns (3 days after starting our older son's main teacher left, 2 weeks after our younger one w/a dairy allergy was given yogurt accidentally, many incident reports, some billing errors, witnessed a lot of harsh verbalization to 1-2 year olds to "stop crying", etc) but the biggest overall issue is that there is no consistency in staff. Drop off at 8 am would take my husband 20+ minutes because their normal rooms didn't have any teachers present, so they would have to just keep trying different rooms until they found one w/appropriate staff to student ratios that allowed them in.  They were fearful of being left with completely new faces (not their teacher or their friends) and caused a lot of tears. It was really hard on us all, and unfortunately this never improved. They would move the kids from their normal room around 445 and drop them in other rooms (where they would get upset and cry), so I would frantically rush to leave work to get there before this transition. It was difficult to get a sense of how the kids were doing, because pick up at 445-5pm often had different teachers than they had throughout the day.  Honestly, I was expecting tears upon starting the new daycare, but it's been almost 2 months and they have not cried even once. They absolutely love it, they come home with tons and tons of artwork now, their teachers tell us all about them at pickup, and our stress has been greatly alleviated.

I had gently voiced concerns to the directors over time, nothing changed and it seemed they do not care. I also did not appreciate that the majority of the "menu" is not followed, snack is graham crackers every day, and that we paid $200 for their "enrollment" fee in April, and then again in September right before we withdrew them. No value provided w/the rising tuition cost.  I would consider other daycares for your 1-3 year olds.

My two children have been at Bright Path for their entire lives--almost 5 and 2 years! I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for the wonderful people who care for my children. I have seen them blossom at BP at every level. My daughter still talks about teachers from two years ago and asks to visit them daily. Amy, Mallorie, and Tricia are particularly skilled and wonderful preschool teachers who taught her pre-academic skills at a very high level (and I am a school administrator!). My son is loving potty training and has grown linguistically thanks for Sonnet, Dy, Geetha, Brandy, and Elizabeth. They cared for him as if he were their own and I am so grateful!

My husband and I are very grateful to have our daughter enrolled at Brightpath. The teachers are very friendly and engaged with the children. We have found the center to be flexible with hours and very dependable for care, even in bad weather. I am so thankful to have a safe, dependable place for my child to spend the day.

The facility and staff at Glastonbury BrightPath are truly incredible. The space is warm and inviting, and has everything a kid could ask for in regards to toys and outside activities. Most importantly the staff are all loving, kind, attentive and communicative. As a first time mom I was very nervous about my son starting daycare, but he has absolutely flourished in their care. I cannot recommend this location enough, and I am so grateful for their care and support for our baby boy!

I am very happy with my kids care, we’ve been in Bright path for over a year and I have seen clear growth. my child is showing independence and is continuing to find ways to communicate his needs. I am happy that as soon as he steps in the building he is greeted with the same enthusiasm as he gives them (his a very happy boy). At the beginning it was hard for him to take a nap but I was grateful with the open communication with the teacher to find ways to help him; I can now say he naps with no problem.
