Stating pure facts in a timeline format, in case C2 tries to disguise the issue.

On 9/28/23, we reached out to C2 to extend my son's hours, to use them for SAT prep in 2024.

On 9/29/23, we received written confirmation that the hours were extended.

On 8/28/24, we reached out to C2 to use those hours that were extended. We were informed that the hours had expired in 12/23. We showed them proof of their written confirmation from their center director.

We waited around 2 weeks for a resolution. Eventually our messages were ignored.

Sign that contract and buy those hours at your peril. Stay away and find an honest tutoring company.

Once I showed interest in tutoring I received phone calls and texts non stop for a few weeks. While it was annoying, it also forced me to make a decision. Out of 4 tutors my teenager only found one to be helpful. We changed a few times because she wasn't getting the support she needed. Most of the tutoring was reviewing the questions and answers from the book. During one session in person the instructor gave them the incorrect answer and my child corrected him. There wasn't additional information given on why or how they answer was what it was, tips for looking and reading problems, looking for patterns in the test or any test taking skills.

One tutor was snacking during the entire session, in person, and my child found that to be distracting. One tutor gave her some homework then the next session a different tutor showed up and she never got to go over her work.

With all my feedback and frustration, they tried to find a good fit for her. My child go so tired of the process she said she doesn't want to go back, that it's not worth it. They reached out looking for ways to make it better and I asked for a partial refund. This is a LOT of money paid up front, and that's the only option. This was a big bill to pay and I would have appreciated their acknowledgment of my request and something returned to me. That email was never answered.

While each person is going to have their own experience, I wish I could say ours was better. I walked away upset and out a few thousand dollars. Would thoroughly vet their staff before signing up.

Really happy with C2 Education for my son. They've been awesome at guiding us through the whole college application things and getting him prepped for the DSAT and AP exams. They've been super helpful with his school courses and even threw in some great ideas for activities and summer programs. Their approach is spot-on and it's made a real difference for him.
