Not sure how anyone has had a 5 star experience with this school. It's unorganized, moved to a new campus at the top of a hill where drop off/pick up causes extra stress, mind you it's only the second week of school. They had the same issue at the previous campus which was smaller, you would think they would think and have a plan before the first day of school. Already having issues with new parents to the school, there's a lack of respect and staff see it, but do NOTHING about it, but if you express your frustration somehow you're in the wrong. Office staff including the lower school principal are super unorganized and don't care about the parents or students. As long as they are paid for your kids being there. The review that mentions the multiple car accidents is 100% correct. Unfortunately we were involved in one, it was the othe parties fault. Nobody ever answers the phone when you call, so there's no point in trying. They have an app to communicate with staff, but they don't answer that either. The only upside we have experienced are the teachers. Other than that, I do not recommend enrolling your kids into this school and I'm sure many other people can agree with me. Save yourself the stress.

The staff is extremely unorganized and it's a reoccurring theme from the last campus. If you are a family with multiple drop offs in the morning make arrangements and be prepared to park off campus, get out and walk completely around the entire school to drop off/pick up your kids and return to your car. Which exacerbates that neighborhood traffic and is completely unsafe. I've witnessed car accidents in the 4 days they have been open. Absolutely lazy and unreasonable and clearly a lack of planning. Don't attempt to call or get a resolution. No one answers the phone because they could care less as long as they get paid for attendance. They had over a year to map out their systems and failed big time. The morning staff is rude and left us no alternative but to remove our kids.

The staff handles things horribly and expects others to do their jobs for them. My brother had thrown up and needed a change of clothes, so the front staff decided to let the janitor change his clothes instead of them actually doing the jobs they are getting paid for, with both doors wide open in 35-40 degree weather. When confronted about this, they said the doors were open because it was smelly, sure, but did they not have a separate nurses room to allow children privacy? To top it off, it is not the janitor's job to change children, it was this group of staffs', so to shirk this responsibility onto someone else is highly unprofessional and just downright appalling. My brother's privacy was violated, and to be changed in front of such cold winds would have only made him feel worse. To top things off, the staff are also immensely unprofessional and lack respect, saying, "it is common sense to not take a child to school if they are sick," which is understandable except for the fact he had suffered allergies from dust (maybe they aren't cleaning their school, it was an aggressive allergy attack) and was in fact NOT sick (we had checked the day prior and the morning of, no fever or symptoms of flu and when asked multiple times, he said he was fine). The vice principal did nothing about the situation either. If you're looking for a school that is actually organized, go for Tara Hills.

I don't even know how to start, first day of school for my son it was horrible, he got bullied, and sexally harassment from other kids, and when we talked to the principal he didn't take it seriously. Educational there is about 5 7th grade teachers compare to Pinole middle which is a public school right down the street from caliber, they have no electives no high school credit for Spanish or music, I wouldn't recommend this school for any body..

My daughter experience at Caliber has been very positive so far. The teachers really take it as their personal mission to help each kid at Caliber. The level expectation for each child is above what I have experienced in other organizations. Your child be be challenged, but also supported to strive for the best. Great program, great teachers, a wonderful experience for your children.

Caliber Beta Academy offers a great new way of learning for my daughter. She loves her coding class and has really improved her computer skills tremendously. The school offers a great opportunity to volunteer and become a part of the learning process through field trips and on site festivities such as science fairs and carnival.. In addition they offer a great free afterschool program which is very helpful for working parents. The hours are great especially with minimum day on Fridays !!! I highly recommend this school and give it a great big thumbs up.

Teachers are great! Office and cafeteria staff don’t get near them unless you are related to them or know them for a long time. Talking to the principal doesn’t help because he never remembers.
