My child recently started attending the kids' jiu-jitsu class, and the experience has been fantastic! The instructors are not only skilled but also incredibly patient and engaging, making the learning process fun and enjoyable. They focus on building fundamental techniques while fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork and respect.

The classes are well-structured, balancing instruction with practice, which keeps the kids motivated and excited to learn. I’ve noticed my child gaining confidence, discipline, and improved physical fitness. The camaraderie among the kids is heartwarming, and it’s great to see them supporting each other.

Overall, I highly recommend this class for any parent looking to introduce their child to martial arts. It's a wonderful way for kids to develop valuable life skills while having a blast!

Intimidating when you first start, my oldest son is usually quiet and more to himself but he caught on real quick. I think throwing them into it is the best thing for these kids, they learn fast on how to protect themselves. We absolutely love this program, the instructor is amazing with the kids. I enjoy the effective discipline that helps for self-defense. After 7 months in class my son decided to compete, I was nervous and didn’t think he was ready but he brought home gold. We were beyond excited and loving to see how happy he is and how helpful this program is. My sons confidence has risen and he looks forward to practice every day. My younger son just decided he wants to join after going to a few practices watching his older brother. Best investment for my children!

I have three children and a husband who attend Carlson Gracie in Menifee. My children are stronger and more confident because of the coaches. I like the teaching style. Coach Orlando is firm in his teaching. Every week Coach focuses on a specific Jiu Jitsu technique and they practice all week. Friday is question day. The kids are able to ask any question. Coach is patient with them and answers their questions throughly. Jiu Jitsu is the kind of sport that you are thrown into and you have to learn as you go. My children have developed valuable skills in Jiu jitsu because of the coaches. They are able to defend themselves. Every child or adult that attends this school will benefit from it. If you are thinking about trying Jiu Jitsu come to this school.

I have both my daughters at Carlson Gracie Menifee, one for over a year and the younger one for 4 months. I can’t say enough about this program. Coach Orlando is awesome, he’s patient with the kids and incorporates discipline in his classes, which is what I was looking for.
It looked so fun and tough that I decided to join myself a month ago. The adult class is outstanding! It’s intense and knowledgeable. As a new guy it felt great to have everyone help me out with training and techniques coach was teaching; everyone is friendly and professional. I definitely recommend everyone to try it out for themselves. 👍

I personally am thankful for this school and Coach Orlando. My 3 kids and wife train here 5 days a week. I wish i could join them and maybe one day I will (work willing). I appreciate the relationships they have made on and off the mat. Coach is no push over and runs a strong school. His priority is keeping his students safe at all times. I highly recommend this school and all that it has to offer. Thank you Orlando my family loves being on the mats.

My son started last year, then my daughter. Coach Orlando has taught them so much, their self confidence has boosted, respect, safety, and self defense. My son was going to start middle school so we wanted him to have at least a little knowledge if he were to be picked on. Coach has gone above and beyond. There are multiple coaches on the mat during practice, everyone of them want to see kids grow and be safe. My kids absolutely love class and hate to miss. We can’t recommend Carlson Grace Menifee enough!

Love this place my daughter Isabella has been coming here for over 1 year now.. she comes 3× per due to other after-school curriculum that she has.. other wise she would be there 5× per week.. But she has learned alot and she loves it. I would highly recommend this place.

Great academy for kids and adults, just beginning or who are coming with experience from another academy. The coaches are tough, strict, no BS and fair. My boys have parents that are prior Marine Corps Drill Instructors so they’re used to Orlando’s style, high standards and it’s also the reason we kept the boys at this academy. If you’re looking for coddling, lower standards and coaches that are too nice…this isn’t the Academy for you.
