Ccar has helped me tremendously with my recovery. They have a feeling that I couldn't find at the fellowships ( not taking anything away from them). A warm inviting atmosphere with no judgement. Rita is great and willing to help anybody however she can. I was introduced to ccar thru a place I was living, it was mandatory to go to meetings but after I moved I still go to meetings, I bus in from Meriden. It is worth the hour plus bus ride.

FANTASTIC place! Incredible abundance of love, guidance, and support. Great opportunity to practice and develop the principle of service.

AS OF March 22, 2022 they have a wonderful "Access Recovery Meeting" Mon-Fri from 12:30 to 1:30. If you're interested in drug and alcohol recovery, check it out!

Connecticut Community For Addiction Recovery (CCAR) is a great place to get phone numbers, housing connections, detox phone numbers, and just about anything else you can possibly think of surrounding any recovery. There are many paths to recovery and they are there to help you find yours. They are not clinical and they don't offer any type of therapy, but the connections and resources they have at their fingertips is astounding!
They're located at 1435 Chapel St in New Haven and are open from 10 to 4 Monday through Friday. Friendly people, great recovery and a safe place to go to.

If you like going to meetings that aren't na or a specific 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday is a really good meeting I'm pretty sure due to covid restrictions they recently forfeited that meeting unfortunately not 100% sure so please call
