Cedarhurst was recommended to us by our sons High School guidance dept. Our son was struggling with both his grades and attendance at the time. Since his enrollment at Cedarhurst, both issues have improved significantly. Both the staff and faculty have consistently shown a high level of expertise and attention. We highly recommend to any parent
having similar issues with their son or daughter a visit to Cedarhurst to see for yourself. Thank you Cedarhurst for helping our son to succeed !!!

Cedarhurst came highly recommended to me by a child advocate. I have a child who hasn't had the best educational experience. So about two and 1/2 years ago my child and I toured the school and we both were extremely impressed. The district agreed with the placement and she started Cedarhurst shortly after. The first year was pretty good. My daughter took to their program like a duck to water. Then without warning things started to change. They stopped communicating with me which is in her IEP. Then began being inconsistent with my daughter which caused a huge escalation in behavior. I had several PPT to address these issues and I was assured everything would be addressed. Well to date nothing has changed they continue to violate her IEP in many different ways. I know at this point your wondering why this has continued for the last year and half. Cedarhurst is a private school! No agency is supervising except for your child's districts BOE and they can only do so much. Especially when the district is being told all is great. Thankfully at her last PPT we all agreed Cedarhurst is no longer an appropriate placement for my child. However my child has to start all over again and is in no better position than she was when she start 2 1/2 years ago. So if you are thinking about choosing Cedarhurst I'd think long and hard about it. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worse enemy.
