I'm going to be honest that I think this is a great organization to help people who are disabled or temporarily in need of services have some meals to eat. I truly think it's great but my experience personally wasn't the best. I didn't know the meals were made, frozen then made to be refrigerated. I only ate some of some of the meals the first 4 weeks that they were offered. I was a little disappointed it went to produce bags for the next weeks instead of milk, eggs, bread cheese, and veggies and fruit. It would have gone back to the prepared meals after a number of weeks but some of the items being unfrozen to eat were unappealing. The selection in each meal was good overall but this experience in having meals from them wasn't what I'd hoped for. Overall the couple people I talked to were nice but I was told I must not cook because I didn't want only produce, which was a bag of a few carrots, squash, a couple apples, garlic, etc. I didn't expect everything to take care of all my meals but for it to have been a little better would have been more pleasant to be able to cook/make meals with more items or have a full meal be more appetizing so I ended my service early.I do appreciate what they do for the community and I'm sure not everyone's experience is mine but I hope it's okay I shared.

While going through breast cancer last summer, Ceres came into my life. Every week I looked forward to the bag of love brought by kind, delivery angels. Flowers, a child’s note, and the most scrumptious organic meals ready-to-eat! It was like going to my own personal restaurant all day long! Now that I’m well, and surviving the cancer, I am so grateful they came into my life. Now they are stepping up for another catastrophe...Covid-19. WOW. Go team!

My wife and I have given to Ceres Project for years because we knew it was such a worthy cause. Recently we needed the help of Ceres for my wife's mother. Experiencing what they do for the community first hand was phenomenal. The meals were exactly what she needed. Thank you so much!
