Very nice and quiet place to live. My apartment appeared quite small when I moved in, but it is well designed, functional and soon I felt home in it. My neighbors are very nice, friendly and accommodating. We all look out for one another, I feel safe here. The complex is well maintained. The management people are super friendly and accommodating. They are very responsive whenever I have any interactions with them. The maintenance crew is very helpful and keeps the complex, as well as my apartment, in good condition. All I have to do is clean the snow off my car and move it for the plow to clean my parking space. Everything else is always taken care of. I could hardly ask for a nicer, better place. Currently, there is a large scale renovation under way. It has been taking a long time, but what was done so far is a nice improvement, with new side walks and many upgrades inside the apartments. The road is yet to be resurfaced, but I expect it will be done soon. In the meantime, there is some inconvenience, but it is understandable.

We've been here for a while and could not be happier with the treatment received from management. The manager has accommodated us in every way possible. The grounds are being upgraded and will look beautiful when complete. It's quiet here and the people are friendly. The grounds will be idyllic with newly paved roads and new landscaping. It's so close to everything yet you feel like you could be in the country. We wouldn't leave this place if we didn't need more room. We take care of two grandchildren often and the one-bedroom unit is just too small. We will still be with the Cheshire Housing Authority in a different, larger place. We are definitely not leaving because of any grievance with management or problem with the way this little village is run. We have not had any issues with mold or flooding. It's strictly size that caused us to make this decision. I would recommend Beachport to anyone who needs an affordable, ground level, fully equipped place to live.

I’ve lived at Foote Commons for the past 10 years and from the moment I moved in, I was greeted with a friendly and professional management team led by Ann. They are always responsive and go above and beyond to ensure residents are happy and comfortable.

The apartments are modern and thoughtfully designed. I love coming home to such a bright and welcoming space.

The location is another major plus. It's conveniently situated near shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to get around. Despite its central location, the complex maintains a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, providing a perfect retreat!

Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to live at Foote Commons. It's a wonderful community that truly feels like home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live!

I have lived in Beachport Apts for 10 years now. I am very happy living here, as I am a disabled senior. If I didn’t like it, I’d moved asap. Recently CHA has taken on a huge undertaking to make much needed renovations inside and out. Our kitchens were recently redone, they are beautiful.
I only know of one person that had mold in 10 years. The minor sidewalk flooding I’ve seen has been immediately addressed by Maintenance. They are currently fixing the former garden areas to avoid water build up, weeds, and look nicer. Many residents are unable to kneel, pull weeds, or garden as they used to.
I have seen at least 7 residents move in with or closer to family because they wanted to not because of their apartment. One woman in her 90’s recently decided to move across the country to live with her niece, after living here for 30 years! A great decision for her. About 8, who decided to move into assisted living. Three that moved to bigger apartments. Sadly, several residents passed.
Beachport is looking better and better. New sidewalks, I love them! They make the place look brighter and are safer. Most of all, as I use a walker, I can smoothly walk along side someone and carry on a conversation while looking at them. Previously, I needed to watch every step for cracks, tarred patches and small rocks - this also caused jarring pain to the body.
Maintenance uses a golf cart on the sidewalks to go to from apartments to the garage. I DO NOT see them speeding in the golf cart. Perhaps it would be better if maintenance used the grass and tore that up. Or maybe not use the cart at all, but waste time walking back and forth to the garage from both complexes carrying equipment in all types of weather.
Recently, our Maintenance team painted a beautiful American flag on the entrance road, on their time.
I sincerely pray that because of a few, it is not covered up, many more like it. CHA has been doing so much lately to improve Beachport, it saddens me to see the extras stopped because of one person.

People please don't ever let your loved ones come here. The people in the office abuse and mistreat their residents. Very nice before you sign lease after that forget it. I've been here unfortunately 23 years lots of people died here , tons more left or have been evicted. Lady I knew for years couldn't leave fast enough after 33 years. They took all gardens, flowers , trees everything away. Spent thousands of grant money for sidewalks and paving four months later cracking, digs in pavement etc. Very poorly run . She spends money on office painting, repainting furniture etc . Place really sucks.
