I love this agency and everything they do for their kids. My mom Robin has worked here for 6 years and I've got to play a small role in helping at events. My sister is really responsible she is in childrens first she has been really involved in her community with advocacy work for foster youth working full-time and also going to school full-time she recently is going through getting 14 dayed by this program because of complaints from the landlord about things she has no control over because she’s not even home 90% of the time and ger roomate is there my sister told them that she had receipts for her time card and she hasn’t been home and she was gonna show them the receipts, and all they can say is we can hold a meeting and you could bring your receipts then she continued to ask why she’s getting kicked out after one incident, especially knowing she has been a model youth since being 18 she is about to, be 21 and now she’s stressing over if she’s going to have a place to live I honestly thought agencies were there to help the youth not tear them down. My sister has been doing really good in life she recently bought a new car. She’s working full-time and also going to school all at the same time. She is following the rules that the state provides to be in THP. There has been multiple people to tell her. She is very kind and sweet but children’s first workers want to call her and tell her she has a behavioral problem I am really sad that this program is OK with keeping the reputation over really sitting down and trying to help youth and resolve the issue and she is not the first do you to say children’s first always kicks you out after six months.

I volunteer fairly regularly with these great people, and they really care about the children and families they work with. When I am in a position to foster children I will definitely be going to see Robin at Children First. They hold large gatherings regularly to give the families a sense of community, and help with transportation needs. All around a good organization that strives to make you feel like family.

Children First has such a big heart for people. From assisting families, bike drives for kids, helping homeless youth and so much more. They truly care. We are fortunate to have them in our local community.

Great program. Josh is an amazing worker. The program it self does trips out of area to look at colleges and to get the youth participating in extra curricular activities. I believe it helps get us in the right track and prepares us for adulthood.
